Use as a shampoo every other day! Brought my colored hair back to happy and in great condition. No more breakage when combing out after shampoo and use of same product line Black Vanilla Conditioner. Highly recommend even tho a bit pricey. Well worth it!

Wow what great stuff. I finished washing my hair got up and looked in mirror and boy was I happy. My hair had never been so beautiful EVER! I am happy it work really well the organix cocunut milk conditioner.

I haven't been able to find my usual DevaCare low-poo in the store, so picked this up to try while waiting for it to be back in stock. Big mistake.

I loved the smell, but besides that, this shampoo had no redeeming qualities for me. I have thick, spirally curly hair (3c) and I don't use silicones or sulfates. With low-poo, I have NO frizz and my hair is really soft and my curls are very elastic and flexible/bouncy. I used this CD shampoo, literally to wash out a deep conditioning treatment I had slept with and even then it dried my hair out like crazy! I had to then use TONS of my usual conditioner (Giovanni smooth as silk) in the shower in order to detangle (usually I only need a little bit). Then, I had to use tons of my leave-in conditioner (tresemme naturals w/ aloe) just to get my curls to semi-cooperate. Now that my hair is mostly dry, the curls are not elastic AT ALL (a sign that they are very dried-out) and the crown of my head is frizzy with much looser curls-- another sign of extreme dryness.

Thank goodness that Ulta has such a wonderful return/exchange policy though so that we can try out these expensive products with no risk. This is going back immediately!!!

I really wanted to like this shampoo after hearing such good stuff about Carol's Daughter products, but it was really horrible for my hair. Since I have the type of hair that these products are supposedly made for, I'm really surprised! But... it is what it is. In the end, I can't recommend this product for curly-haired girls and will stick to my DevaCARE low-poo and no-poo!

shampoo is effective but definitely should be used with conditioner for full effect. combined with conditioner (which in my opinion is the better product) this makes my hair incredibly soft and manageable. My hair is very course, tangles so easily and impossible to tame. I can't believe how easy it is to run my fingers through my hair after the shower. I do notice my scalp being a bit itchy after using this product and the effect only lasts for a day or two at most. Need to constantly use it in order to maintain the effect which becomes too costly because of the limited quantity. Overall, I'm happy with it and still trying it further to get a real feel for the long-term effect.

This product worked extremely well for my hair. It made my hair soft like butter. I love it.
