I recently got my hair ombréd back in late april. The sylist's assistant did the job and it was terrible. I specifically said "i dont want orange/copper hair"- so he applied ash blonde colors, but it still came out coppery/reddish. I hated it. I dyed it later with a drug store Ash Blonde, and it helped, but there was still red pigment undertone and it was emphasized in the sunlight.
I read about this purple shampoo and did some research. Purple seems to work extremely well with with blonde hair- not for light brown hair with red undertones. It may work, but the best ones for light brown hair with red/copper undertones would be a BLUE shampoo- which is the AG Sterling Silver. This is amazing stuff. I know it works because when I'm taking photos in front of a window with sunlight, it doesn't appear disgusting coppery! I am sooo happy with this product!!! I wish i had learned about this earlier to spare me the stress- but better late than never!
I highly recommend this product! Must buy!
