The Body Shop difference: Community Fair Trade organic soy oil is produced in Brazil, where industrial soy farming is driving the deforestation of the Amazon. Most of the deforestation is through burning and logging to create huge agribusiness soy farms. Because the Capanema Farmers practice sustainable farming methods without the use of chemicals, they are helping to preserve nature, as well as their traditional way of life. The Body Shop uses about 150 tons of soy oil a year - none of which, they can happily say, contributes to the destruction of the Amazon rainforest.

Directions

Use in the shower to create a moisturizing lather. Squeeze onto the palms of your hands or onto a Bath Lily and massage over your body. Rinse off thoroughly. Use our Satsuma products together in a layering regime to maximize the combined skin care benefits and enjoy the invigorating citrus scent longer.

This was a purchase for my atheletic teen daughter, who can burn through a bottle of bodywash in a three-day period without even trying. I bought it because it was on sale & had a pleasant orange scent. What I had no way of knowing, and am delighted to discover is that: 1) the convenient pump prevents accidental spills, 2) it's pretty rich, so a little bit lathers up enough to get the job done, 3) it doesnt't irritate or dry her skin out ~ which is crucial for a 2 shower a day athelete in dry Arizona. She's only 1/2 way through the bottle after 2 weeks, so it's a bargain in the end!
