Lee Stafford

Beach Blondes Shampoo

Item #: 2243014

Freshly bleached blonde hair looks bright, beautiful and banging, but overtime it can go brassy leaving you with canary yellow tones. So Lee Stafford created Bleach Blondes light toning shampoo to help kick this problem into touch. This deliciously deep purple shampoo, specifically for bleached or partly bleached highlights or bleached hair, will lightly tone bleached hair, knocking out brassy canary yellow tones and refreshing and restoring it back to salon beautiful colour. The Pro-Blonde complex with Miracle Tree will help keep hair squeaky clean and encourage natural shine, whilst the 21st century colour protection helps to stop annoying colour fade caused by styling, sunlight and the damage caused by UV; leaving hair looking and feeling super charged!
Apply to wet hair, massage gently into a lather and rinse well. Repeat if necessary. For best results use regularly with Lee Stafford Bleach Blonde Conditioner.

Precautions: Avoid contact with eyes. Do not apply to damaged or irritated scalps. Stop use if irritation occurs. Keep out of reach of children.

Comments about Lee Stafford Beach Blondes Shampoo:

This stuff rocks, but there are a few things you have to be aware of before you use it.

Firstly, the consistency is runny, so be careful - it's really easy to pour way too much out into your hand, which is a bummer as this stuff is almost as precious as gold to me.

Secondly, this is a highly pigmented shampoo! If your hair just needs a little toning, you might want to cocktail it half-and-half with a non-toning shampoo, unless you're cool with your hair having a light lavender tinge. (I think it looks awesome, myself.)

And thirdly, the color of this shampoo is a pink-toned violet. That means it'll work well not only on nasty yellowy bits but also that weird, sickly green tone that blonde hair can sometimes pick up. It might not be great for hair that has more of an orange tone, as the pink can make the orange look warmer. Thankfully, the matching conditioner is a blue-toned violet, which is perfect for orangey hair.

The scent is pretty unisex; it has a warm, complex, woody smell, something akin to a really high-quality incense. I love it, but if you're more about fruity, floral, or herbal scents you might not think it's so great. And, as others have said, it can be pretty drying. That's fairly typical of toning shampoos, in my experience. Just follow up with a good deep conditioner and you should be fine.

Comments about Lee Stafford Beach Blondes Shampoo:

I don't like to color my hair too often because I like a natural ombré effect and my California surfer hair but summertime creates yellow brassy tones that are no Bueno! This product takes the yellow tones away leaving a natural ashy blonde behind. If you leave it on longer than intended you can rock some temporary lavender hair too!

Comments about Lee Stafford Beach Blondes Shampoo:

If you have colored platinum blonde hair, this product is a must. I use it bi-weekly and leave in one for about 5 minutes in the shower and it removes ALL unwanted brassy tones from my hair. Makes my platinum hair look bright, shiny, soft, and with a perfect color. Smells amazing too! Could not be happier with the results.

Comments about Lee Stafford Beach Blondes Shampoo:

I completely underestimated this products powers!! I am an american living overseas and couldn't find a violet shampoo to keep my highlights looking bright and white(-ish). I found this in a german store but still wanted to review on my beloved Ulta because it was worth it. Since it was very low priced and tucked away i doubted it would work very well. I tried paul mitchells purple shampoo(from a salon, all i could get at the time) and it did absolutely nothing to my very thin, natural medium blonde hair with highlights! I left this stuff on for around 5-7 minutes since my previous shampoo did nothing, LET ME TELL YOU, I wanted whiter blonde and less brass, and I got it!! I also feel like it tuned up my natural blonde too, maybe the illusion from the intensely toned highlights but I'm a believer. I also used the matching conditioner. They smell amazing and left my hair soooo soft and shiny. I hope this product is still on ulta's shelves when we move back to the states because I will buy every bottle I can. I'm in love!

Comments about Lee Stafford Beach Blondes Shampoo:

I LOVE THIS PRODUCT! It is very hard to find a very pigmented, deep purple, shampoo. I NEED DEEP PURPLE FOR MY BLONDE. I am not a natural blonde, and I do not like the brassy look, this inexpensive product was THE BEST. I tried John Frieda and it was okay.. but once I found this, it was PHENOMENAL. I feel like I'm obsessed. It compares well to the ISO purple shampoo in my opinion, and is a lot cheaper. I put it in my DRY hair and let it sit for about an hour and then rinse it out, then deep conidtion my hair. It seriously looks like I just left the salon.. I actually do like the soft pink tint it leaves behind, if you don't like it, then I'd say to just rinse out your hair with the product instead of letting it sit on dry hair like I do. I actually am not a fan of the smell, smells like men's shaving cream and I had a friend comment that I smelt like an old woman.. but I don't mind the smell for how nice it makes my hair look.

Comments about Lee Stafford Beach Blondes Shampoo:

I really wanted to love this shampoo. I've been using it for a month. I love the smell unlike more reviewers but it doesn't later well at all. I have a ton of hair and I feel like I'm using way more than I should. Still love the small. Will be on the hunt again for another purple shampoo once I'm out.

This is most outstanding purple shampoo ever! I've tried them all and this keeps my blonde hair a cool blonde 0 brazzyness. I get so many compliments about color/tone of my hair all the time. If you use this product more than once per week than it can leave a pink cast on your hair but it's hardly noticeable. I kind of like it. I really don't care for the smell but it's not a deal breaker for me due to the performance of this product. I highly recommend this product to every blonde I know to knock out that yellow brassyness.

Comments about Lee Stafford Beach Blondes Shampoo:

The shampoo is very purple, and my hair is very blonde. Using the shampoo and conditioner makes my blonde hair pink. Which is Ok since I'm not really in the public eye; I raise arabian horses, so what I look like isn't important. But if you did need to be presentable for work, I wouldn't buy this product.
