I have acne prone skin, and this does NOT break me out at all! I love this even more than philosophy's hope in a jar. This is definitely a staple of mine. It really does even out your skin tone and give you a nice glow.

I've been familiar with the 7 Effects Moisturizer ( fragrance free), so I decided to give a try to this night cream version of it, and what a disappointment! Heavily scented, it made my skin look like it has fine lines ( which I do not have yet despite being age 32) and instantly gave me zits ( and I do not have acne prone skin). I returned it to the store and bought the regular fragrance free one that I've been used to, and zits are gone. I also did not care for the tube presentation, not hygienic at all.

The Total Effects Tone Correcting Night Moisturizer by Olay was highly recommended by a sales associate at Ulta; however, I found it to be irritating on dry, sensitive skin. I applied it as a night cream on clean skin before bed. The lotion smell is pleasant enough, but not as refreshing as other Olay products. The first application left my skin a little red and had a burning sensation. I tried the product for a week and the irritation faded, but I never felt that the product was soothing enough for a night cream. It does not absorb immediately and leaves a tackiness on your skin.
Skin felt moisturized in the morning and the tone looked even, but my face always felt tense since my skin was a little too sensitive. I returned the product.
