I was very impressed with how my nails turned out. The first few times took a bit of practice but after each time they looked better then before. Practice makes perfect!

I applied to my natural nail bed. The pen was very easy to use to apply the tip, did not use the guides just applied free hand. Used a bonder and a top coat to try to avoid chipping but the white tips started to chip the next day. Don't know if it will last longer on acrylic nails or not. Less expensive than a professional french manicure and you can get several manicures out of the kit.

The pen to paint the white on the nails is a little tricky to use, but I think with practice it will get easier

It really seems like a good idea. However I could not get the pen to keep the ink flowing smoothly to do the white. It ended up clumpy.

The white seeped through the guide tape and resulted in a very messy manicure. The color of the white looks like white out. Not flattering at all.

It does take some time to get use to to use the pen but it is doable, really. I don't use the base/top coat. It takes too long to dry. Use Poshe fast drying base coat and Seche Vite fast drying fast coat (the best!!!). But I love the Barely There color and it truly does not chip. I do it once a week and looks really good (unless i spend too much time in pool etc. )
