Comments about Revlon Color Stay Nail Enamel:
I was a devoted Essie fan, but they discontinued my favorite color, Platinum del Playa. I began experimenting with other brands and found that the Revlon Color Stay Enamel lasts for a week without chipping or peeling. My favorite color is Trade Winds, but I would love to see more colors added to the collection.

Comments about Revlon Color Stay Nail Enamel:
I was pleasantly surprised by this polish by Revlon. I've found them to be very opaque and affordable. I use them at home and at the salon. I love this color Buttercup. It's extremely opaque with the first coat. Fast drying and I didn't have any issues with bubbling up or chipping too soon.

Comments about Revlon Color Stay Nail Enamel:
I tried this polish for the first time in the "Rich Raspberry" shade which is pretty and a very deep raspberry so it is not a light shade. Whenever I polish my nails, I never use a basecoat and usually only do 2 coats of polish. This polish (like so many other brands) does wear at the tips of the nails but is easy to "touch up". Plus, I find the longer the nail, the faster the wear at the tips in ANY brand of polish......plus this can't be seen as easily with the lighter shades. I'm hard on my hands and always have them in water, so for the money, I feel that this is a good-quality thick polish that goes on easily, holds up decently, and has a VERY high shine so no shine topcoat is needed. I would recommend trying. (and I'll add here: for those looking for a good SHINE topcoat, I LOVE Sally Hansen's MegaShine that comes in a shiny silver bottle.)
Pros
- Good Applicator Brush
Cons
- Difficult to Apply

Comments about Revlon Color Stay Nail Enamel:

Comments about Revlon Color Stay Nail Enamel:
Whats great: the polish lasts a long time for me if used like this-apply base and two coats color at night. In the morning, apply one thick coat of clear. Then apply a fast drying nail spray over this. My nails stay shiny and chip free for at least 7-10 days. There is a bit of wear on the tips but barely noticeable and also, I'm hard on my hands.

I like Revlon and most of their products and I own a few of these polishes. I find that they do not exactly live up to the Colorstay name of being long lasting but I enjoy the color selection and the formula.

Comments about Revlon Color Stay Nail Enamel:
I applied this polish in two coats drying the first with my blow dryer before applying the second coat and blown dry again. However the finish was ruined after 20min when I put my coat on to head out for the night and I realized that the second coat had not hardened completely.
Suggestion: spend the extra $ for the product that dries and hardens faster. Makes life a little easier.
