According to the description it is a leave in conditioner and detangler. The product is too thick and weighs down hair especially when compared with similar products. I tried it for 1 week then returned it.

I love this product! I use it everyday on damp hair, and it protects my hair from all the blow-drying and styling. Allowing my hair to get longer and have almost no split ends.

this the perfect everyday light-weight leave in conditioner for my curls. Every morning I spray a bit of water on my hair and then I apply Instant repair all over. It smooths my frizzies, detangles, and gives shine to my curls. It's incredibly light-weight.
My only complaint is that they made the bottle smaller, while keeping the same price :( Also, Pureology does not make this in a liter or 16oz size, so I buy this once a month. It's pricey but worth every penny!
