It is not heavy or oily and my mother loves it!
i use the product right before i go to sleep on my wet hair and it works perfectly. it also acts as a dentangler and helps me brush my hair. It's helping my dry/dammaged hair.

I have been using this product on my color treated hair for years and can go much longer between colorings than my hairstylist would like. I walk outside for a hour and a half everyday and my color lasts as long as I want it to.
Use on wet/damp color treated hair. Can be combed through or scrunched into hair. Provides extra softness.
Not sure if it protects the color, but it makes hair feel nice!

Best Uses
I have used this product for years but now there has been a formula change that is a change for the worst.If you will notice, the 2nd ingredient by volume is now an alcohol. In the old formula, alcohol was way down the list. This new formula makes my hair (which is not dry or damaged) feel like straw! Horrible!!! I am not purchasing anymore Purology. They make poor decisions.
