I have been using this product on my color treated hair for years and can go much longer between colorings than my hairstylist would like. I walk outside for a hour and a half everyday and my color lasts as long as I want it to.

Not sure if it protects the color, but it makes hair feel nice!

        Product Change Failure

        By tinkerbell

        from St. Louis, MO

        Pros

        • Improved fragrance
        • Possible UV protection

        Cons

        • Drying to hair
        • Make hair feel like straw

        Best Uses

I have used this product for years but now there has been a formula change that is a change for the worst. If you will notice, the 2nd ingredient by volume is now an alcohol. In the old formula, alcohol was way down the list. This new formula makes my hair (which is not dry or damaged) feel like straw! Horrible!!! I am not purchasing anymore Purology. They make poor decisions.
