When I need a black eyeliner, this NYX satin finish pencil does the trick every time- I use this every day. I have purchased cheaper pencils (because they are so tempting- I mean, it's just black eyeliner, right?) but I'm telling you- this is my favorite pencil. I put it on in the morning, and it stays put all day long. At this price point, you can't go wrong with one of these in your kit at all times.

good for any occasion.very soft and non irritating when your applying it to your tear-duct . but like them all especially is you have an expressed brow bone and oily skin the liner will make a smudge if you dont put any primer on...but thats unpreventable with oily skin that shows up throughout the day

For the price you pay it is a pretty good eyeliner. it is one of the best pencil liners I have used. The only thing is that it does not last all day and it can easily smudges/runs if your eyes get irratated or if you put it on your bottom lashline.

So my daughter recently became obsessed with eyeliner. I have been using liquid for years because i was never happy with the pencil stuff i bought. But she always wanted pencil so we started buying different ones, trying them out, comparing them. They were either cheap and useless and didn't apply well or they were messy or they didn't sharpen well so you'd have to keep sharpening and you'd waste half the stick or it would be ridiculous expensive. This NYX brand satin finish liner is the best pencil liner we've found. We first tried the NYX brand kohl liner and found it too messy but this one is just right. Applies beautifully, easy sharpen, fantastic price, and it lasts. We like it better than a lot of pricier brands like urban decay. I've even switched from my liquid liner. We'll be sticking with this one.

I like to use it for tightlining and on my waterline. It's smooth enough that it doesn't hurt when I use it on those sensitive areas. It won't stay on all day but for me it does the job and will definitely be a repurchase!
