I've been fortunate and never really needed to wear makeup when I was younger but I'm finding that I need a little help now that I'm a little older. I found that the shiny eyeshadows that are so common right now show off every crease and imperfection in my 40ish year old eyelids. I love how natural the eyeshadow looks. The instruction cards included with the kit helped teach me how to put eyeshadow on and have it look good. I use an eyelid primer before application and the eyeshadows stay on all day and look good until I wash my face when I get home from work. These are the first eyeshadows that I've been happy with in years.

I wear eye shadow everyday, but prefer to avoid glitter at work, for the most part. It's pretty difficult to find an all matte palette and I was hoping this would solve my problem. Unfortunately, I hate the blues. I think they look very old fashioned and I don't use them at all. I like the other colors, but now I'm not even using about 1/3 of the palette. Even though it has shimmer in it Boudoir Eyes Soft & Sexy Shadow Collection is much more pleasing with my skin tones.

This is a great product for people who love matte eyeshadows. I'm not a fan of sparkly and shimmery eyeshadows, so I would definitely recommend this. The only thing I really didn't like is the color choices,I wish there was at least one or two bright colors.

This a a great product that I would reccomend to anyone who want a matte finish eye look. I think there should be more matte eyeshadow palates because they are hard to find and there a lot of eyeshadows that contain lots of glitter.
