I have very curly hair, but now that I'm getting older, it has become thinner & more fine. I used to use about 3 Deva products together to style my hair, but it sometimes weighed my hair down, or made it "crunchy" to the touch. This product is new, so of course, I had to try it. It is great for my hair, so much so, that I have no need to buy anything else, which, for a curly girl, 1 product is usually impossible! I only condition my hair with Deva One Conditioner, rinse, the flip my wet hair over, spray the Deva Spray Gel & scrunch, flip it back over, spray & scrunch. I put a few clips in my hair around my part to give it a little lift , then use a diffuser or dry naturally, and I'm good to go, ( don't forget to take the clips out). You will end with nice soft, formed curls, with no frizz & no crunchy-ness. I haven't used any other product since, and I was hesitant to promote this product, in fear that because it makes you only need 1, that it would get discontinued, but, I think this will work for most curly girls.

My hair suddenly went from straight to naturally curly last year and so I needed a gel or mousse to help keep the curls in tact and the frizz away. I had been using a Matrix product that has since been discontinued. I tried a lot of different products that were either too sticky, too heavy/greasy or left my curls feeling like straw. I was reluctant to try DevaCurl because I'd never heard of the brand, but I'm glad I did because I'm loving it! Their spray gel works even better than the Matrix product ever did. My curls are soft to the touch and I can play with them without my hair going flat. To me the scent is a little on the strong side and the nozzle tends to get a little clogged each day, so the first squirt comes out heavier and the rest come out in a finer mist, but those things I can deal with to have great curls!

Sadly, this just doesn't work on my coarse, 3b curls. It's not strong enough to control the frizz or hold my hair in place, and it makes the ends of my hair feel like wool.

I have used this product for about 1 year and it is the best I have used. It holds my curl all day. It is a little pricey so I don't use it on the days I am staying at home.

i used to use Redkin spray gel that they discontinued, thought i would never find a spray gel i like as much. Well i did and its better than Redkin.

I had previously been using another curl booster and decided to try to switch. Bad idea. The first time I used this, my hair looked, smelled and felt terrible. I though maybe it was just a bad hair day so I tried it one more time. Even worse. I have very long, naturally wavy hair and when I use the right product, it turns into beautiful cascades of soft curls. This isn't the right product. I brought it back and went back to my old product.
