    Comments about DevaCurl No-Poo:

I have very thick hair that is coarse and brittle in one section down by the nape of my neck, and curly all over. I have struggled to find a shampoo and conditioner that keep my hair soft and shiny, but also provide body, without overdrying the ends of my hair. My hair is also long, my longest layer is about mid-back. I love the DevaCurl No-Poo because I only have to use it about every other day--I NEVER wash my hair daily any more--and it has changed my world. Even my hairstylist noticed that my hair had more volume and was less oily at the roots, and the curls were more defined.

Best product I've found for my curly hair I only wish that it was a bit thicker and had the option to use as a leave in conditioner when needed especially in winter months to give a bit of extra weight and frizz control to my hair.

I purchased this for my daughter who is biracial and has very curly hair. It is very soft, but very tight curls. It tangles super easily and DevaCurl has made a huge difference in just one wash. I am able to comb through her hair without too many tears. It washes her hair clean, and keeps it from frizzing out as bad as normal shampoo.

                Comments about DevaCurl No-Poo:

A friend got a free sample of the shampoo, conditioner and light hold gel as a sample and gave it to me since I have wavy/curly hair. I was excited to try it but ultimately unimpressed. First, I didn't like that shampoo doesn't lather, which makes me feel like I need to use more of it. I also felt like the products were too greasy/heavy for my hair. I may have used too much, but considering I still had surface frizz, I don't think this is the case. I normally can go two days with curly hair before my hair gets super greasy and the curls loosen, but I only went one day with this. Finally, the smell was terrible. It has a flowery, rose smell, which some may like but I detest. I'm glad I got a sample because I was prepared to buy the kit and would have had to return it.

Love this stuff. Since normal shampoos have alcohol in them and drys my hair out I feel this does well at not doing that. Easy to rinse don't need a lot. Small bottle lasts 3-4 months.

I have straight hair that's on the fine side and it is also color treated with unnatural colors. With the colors being only semi permanent I know they will always fade, but this formula would help keep my color fresher longer? Also with having straight more fine hair would the shampoo most likely be enough for my hair since it can be weighed down very easily?

Any of our sulfate free cleansers will help prevent color fading. With fine texture, you might prefer DevaCare LowPoo. It has a higher PH than No Poo and will promote a healthy and voluminous texture without weighing the hair down.

Because this shampoo is 100% sulfate-free, silicone-free, and paraben-free, it is wonderfully gentle and ideal to use on chemically-treated hair that needs a bit of repair. No-Poo can be used on all hair types and textures. It is mild enough to use daily. For best results, we recommend using No-Poo in conjunction with One Condition Ultra Creamy Daily Conditioner to provide maximum hydration:

DevaCurl No-Poo can be used for hair that is either straight or being "worn" straight. The key is to evenly disperse product at the scalp and then vigorously stimulate product throughout the scalp in a circular massaging motion. Then rinse VERY well.

DevaCurl No-Poo is an excellent choice for dreadlocks due to its gentle and botanically derived formulation along with its hydrating properties. We suggest using No-Poo on the dreadlocks at the scalp. In this case, a gentle scalp stimulation is best so as not to disturb the curl formation. Again, rinsing thoroughly is key to achieving beneficial results.

I have fine, semi-wavy hair that is very short (like, pixie short) and I'm trying to find a sulphate/paraben/silocone-free, all natural shampoo to use in my hair. Most of the reviews I read about this DevaCurl No-Poo product were from ladies with thick and curly hair. I'm wondering if it would be effective on mine as well, or if I need to look for a different product. Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

Yes, utilizing a creamy, zero lather conditioning cleanser with a low PH of 4.5 like this product is a much better option than conventional shampoo which can contain harsh sulfates, parabens and silicones.
