        Comments about DevaCurl No-Poo:

I have tried the shampoo, conditioner, and styling cream with very poor results. I thought I was using the products wrong so I even went to a certified Deva hair stylist. After sitting in her chair for almost two hours I came home almost in tears. These products are a complete waste of money. I have gone back to my old product after comparing the results I got with the DevaCurl products.

        Comments about DevaCurl No-Poo:

I absolutely LOVE this no poo conditioning cleanser! It is the best of the best in my opinion! I love that there are no nasty chemicals, and it really does what it promises. My hair feels great and clean, and I use the Deva-Curl products for my wavy, fine (but lot of it) hair. I can't imagine using anything else since I've discovered this!

I love this product! It is the best non sulfate, conditioning cleanser I have used! I have type 4, African American, corkscrew curl hair & this product actually works for me! A little goes a long way so the price of it isn't that bad since I get plenty of use out of it. The smell isn't extremely strong so I like it, & the next time I repurchase it I'll definitely be getting the 32 oz bottle! It doesn't strip the hair, it actually moisturizes while it cleans, and my hair feels & is just as clean as using a regular shampoo. If you like a lather try the Deva Curl Low Poo because you won't get any lather from this cleanser.

                Comments about DevaCurl No-Poo:

I started using this product a few years ago. The smell took a little bit to get used to. It's not bad, but it's more of a "clean" smell than I'm used to, if that makes sense. It took a few months for my hair to be ok with the no-poo process, but when it finally calmed down I was so pleased with the results. This left my hair and scalp feeling clean and invigorated, and I felt like my curls were well taken care of. I stopped using it for a few months (I tried Wen, too expensive and started to make my hair straight) and noticed a difference, so I switched back. It is more expensive than other brands, but this helps solve a problem and I think it's well worth the cost. I recommend this to all my curly friends.

                  Comments about DevaCurl No-Poo:

I have lots of fine to medium hair. It is curly in the front and moves to wavy curly hair in throughout. I also extremely sensitive scalp and skin. I can't wear sunscreen, I can't where any type of lip anything, I can't use anything made by neutrogena or head and shoulders, etc... So I've been on this journey all my life to discover something that is great for medium or oily scalp, curly/wavy/FINE hair, and very itchy sensitive scalp and skin. No sooner do I find one thing that I think works for my hair, than my scalp will start being irritated by it.
Finally, enter DevaCurl No Poo and system! I am so excited! I've been using it for several months now with no irritation. My hair look healthier than it ever has. The price is reasonable compared to a lot of the stuff I've tried. And it doesn't weigh down my fine hair curls!

                    Comments about DevaCurl No-Poo:

I have very thick hair that is coarse and brittle in one section down by the nape of my neck, and curly all over. I have struggled to find a shampoo and conditioner that keep my hair soft and shiny, but also provide body, without overdrying the ends of my hair. My hair is also long, my longest layer is about mid-back. I love the DevaCurl No-Poo because I only have to use it about every other day--I NEVER wash my hair daily any more--and it has changed my world. Even my hairstylist noticed that my hair had more volume and was less oily at the roots, and the curls were more defined.

Best product I've found for my curly hair I only wish that it was a bit thicker and had the option to use as a leave in conditioner when needed especially in winter months to give a bit of extra weight and frizz control to my hair.

I currently use Wen Fig but have wanted to try Deva products. For anyone who has used Wen, if you use this do you need to use the One Conditioner with it? With Wen you cleanse and use 1 pump as leave in conditioner. Could you use No-Poo as a leave in as well? Any input would be helpful, thanks!

(I have long naturally blonde wavy fine/normal hair that needs moisture!)

                        A:

Because you have fine hair, we would suggest that you use Low-Poo to cleanse your scalp. After rinsing, apply One Condition mid-shaft to the ends to detangle. Rinse well. For styling, we suggest Frizz-Free Volumizing Foam applied to very wet hair, and then Light Defining Gel.

You may or may not need a conditioner, depending upon your hair type. If your hair is fine and/or thin, No-Poo may be enough for you. However, if you have coarse, thick, dry or color-treated hair, you may choose to use One Condition (following No-Poo) for added moisturizing, conditioning and detangling.

I have straight hair that's on the fine side and it is also color treated with unnatural colors. With the colors being only semi permanent I know they will always fade, but this formula would help keep my color fresher longer? Also with having straight more fine hair would the shampoo most likely be enough for my hair since it can be weighed down very easily?

Any of our sulfate free cleansers will help prevent color fading. With fine texture, you might prefer DevaCare LowPoo. It has a higher PH than No Poo and will promote a healthy and voluminous texture without weighing the hair down.

Although DevaCurl products work best when used together as a complete regimen, you can certainly "mix & match" No-Poo with a hair conditioner from a different brand.

This product is 100% sulfate-free, paraben-free, and silicone-free and is recommended for hair of any age, all hair types, lengths, textures, and curl types including "s'wavy" (semi-wavy), wavy, loose curls, and corkscrew curls. Because it is so gentle and non-drying, it will absolutely help to eliminate frizz and maintain your curl formation.

Because this shampoo is 100% sulfate-free, silicone-free, and paraben-free, it is wonderfully gentle and ideal to use on chemically-treated hair that needs a bit of repair. No-Poo can be used on all hair types and textures. It is mild enough to use daily. For best results, we recommend using No-Poo in conjunction with One Condition Ultra Creamy Daily Conditioner to provide maximum hydration:

                        A:

DevaCurl No-Poo can be used for hair that is either straight or being "worn" straight. The key is to evenly disperse product at the scalp and then vigorously stimulate product throughout the scalp in a circular massaging motion. Then rinse VERY well.

DevaCurl No-Poo is an excellent choice for dreadlocks due to its gentle and botanically derived formulation along with its hydrating properties. We suggest using No-Poo on the dreadlocks at the scalp. In this case, a gentle scalp stimulation is best so as not to disturb the curl formation. Again, rinsing thoroughly is key to achieving beneficial results.
