I am truly impressed by the super fast heating and the beautiful curls it makes. I only wish they would either give a glove or sell one , I burned my fingers several times, regardless of how careful I was. Chi has sold me on how a great product it is. I am going to try the shampoos and heating products next.

I have stick-straight hair that doesn't hold a curl well. With this wand, I was able to curl my hair in half the time it normally takes me to curl. On top of that, it held so well with only a little hairspray. The only downside is the curls are verrrry tight, so I would recommend curling thick sections for a better wave rather than tight spirals. Bonus: It doesn't make my hair smell "burnt" like other curling irons.

I was looking for a product that would turn my medium-curly hair into those pretty beachy waves that you see everywhere these days. I had read good things about the Chi wand and had a 20% off coupon, plus it was on sale. Seemed like fate! First used a blow dryer and brush to straighten my hair after a shower, then I sectioned my hair off and attempted to figure out how to use this curling iron without burning my fingers (no instructions are included). It was very difficult and I did get burned. Maybe with more practice I could have mastered it? But the curls I was able to achieve were too tight for the look I was going for, and the whole process took more time than I am typically wanting to spend before going out the door. Decided it just wasn't worth it so I returned the wand.

I loved this when I first saw it. I got the CHI Orbit 3/4 of an inch wand. It creates BEAUTIFUL curls, and they last forever! If you're THINKING about getting one because of the money, stop thinking! It's so worth it!

I just bought the Wand today & I LOVE it! It is extremely easy to use & well worth the money I paid for it!! It is honestly a great investment. If you want curly hair that looks great and is easy to do, definitely buy this product! Chi never seems to dissapoint! :)

I love this product and will find any reason to curl/wave my hair. I've been using a low budget curling iron to wrap my hair around for a few years but this one gives me waves (when wrapping thick sections of hair around it) and curls (when wrapping smaller sections of hair around the barrel). I also like that it changes in width from the handle to the end because it gives you more volume closer to the top of your hair where it matters! I was lucky enough to get this on sale so that was also a HUGE plus because its pretty pricey. It also holds my curls longer which is great because my hair is VERY straight.

Love that this stays hot curl after curl after curl. Quick and effective. It takes a little getting used to but by the second time you use it you should have it down.

This is a curling wand but it sure does some magic! [ha ha ha] I have naturally thick very curly frizzy hair and this product is great for fixing my uneven messy curls and generally making my hair look as if it it naturally curled itself that way :P
I quick watched a tutorial on how to use it and had no problems, although I straighten/curl my own hair all the time.
I would say that this is much better than a curling iron with a clamp on it! Leaves you with perfect, shiny, dent free waves :]
The only reason I didn't give this a 5 was because I prefer to have bigger curls, this makes tighter coiled ones.

I have pin-straight hair and have tried less expensive brand curling irons. My hair would not hold a curl no matter how much hairspray I used. But with the Chi wand, it heats up hot enough to actually curl my hair and with a little hairspray I was able to get my hair to hold the curl. I'm very pleased with this product and have already recommended it to my family and friends.
