I bought this product in april and used it twice already and I have to say that this kit is awesome! I always get compliments on the look and color of my nails. Definitly glad I bought this kit and not the smaller LED light kit.

I did a lot of reserach before purchasing this prodcut, and found that this brand is the most affordable and works great. I actually read somewhere that the company that makes this brand is the same that makes Gelish Harmony products which is a superrrr pricey salon brand!

I have found that this system is pretty much the same as what salons use. I have used the bas and top coat with many different brands of UV Cured polishes and have had no problem. So if you happen to find other gel brands at Ulta on clearance grab them--they will still work!

Follow directions and your mani can last up to 3 weeks if you don't mind the outgrowth. I would NEVER pay to have a salon to my no chip again. I can control my "appointment time", how clean my tools are, and can be in the conforts of my own home!

I love this product! The only reason I have it a 4 out of 5 is because it starts peeling 1 week after use but it is super easy to redo! I have this issue with professional gel manicures too... And it is worse when you are paying $30 a mani! I also wish there were more bright colors! Or regular polish to match for my pedis.

I love the pulled together look of well manicured nails. I do NOT like the cost, the time commitment, or the damage done when the nail technician grinds off my gel or shellac nails. My technique is improving and I would encourage anyone to keep at it because when it's done right, the color and shine are gorgeous, my manicure lasts, and I can do it at 10 pm in my jammies. ')

This is really an affordable GREAT product! I got one professional gel manicure and wanted to be able to do it myself at home without the hassle and cost of going to the salon. I have a vast collection of regular polish and will probably never go back to them! Red Carpet Manicure kit comes with everything you need (except a good cuticle pusher/remover) to create a professional looking manicure. For those who worry about having to do one four fingers at a time on each hand and then doing your thumbs separately again, I HAVE A SOLUTION FOR YOU! Ready.....? Do four fingers on one hand and the thumb of the opposite hand at the same time and you cut your curing time! I've already collected over 15 Red Carpet Manicure colors. Try it and I'm sure you will be addicted. Also, like them on FB and they take care of their customers with Q&A. Overall very satisfied. :-)

The only thing that would make this product better is to have it done professionally. I am very impressed with this kit. My first time, my nails look great 7 days later and I expect the polish to last another 7. Go for it ladies! Enjoy!

I bought this after reading the reviews because I was tired of paying $35 every two weeks for a gel manicure at the salon. This was worth every penny! As long as you have had a few gel manicures and watched how they did it, this will be a breeze to apply! I was shocked at how easy it was and how my nails turned out just as good as if I'd paid to have them done. I'm on day 4 now and not a chip in sight and I'm ROUGH on my hands. My best advice is to do one entire hand, start to finish (cure four fingers, then your thumb separately with each step). Then do the other hand entirely. I found this the best way to keep from opening and closing the bottles a million times and kept me from smearing one hand while trying to apply the other. It came with Red Carpet Reddy but I haven't used that one yet. I purchased Camera Shy and Ooh La Liscious. Ooh La Liscious is what I used and looks JUST like OPI Cajun Shrimp. Camera Shy looks very sheer, but probably similar to Essie Ballet Slippers or OPI Bubble Bath. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!!

You must follow directions (not hard) for best results. I do a lot of filing at work and manicure lasts a good two weeks. Even after two weeks, polish is fine, it's the space between cuticle and color from nail growth that determines the need for fresh manicure. Color choices are great. Compact enough for travel. Love that I can do my nails just before bedtime or heading out the door!!!!
DO NOT PEEL COLOR OFF OF NAIL. When women complain that gels ruined their nails, they more than likely peeled the color, and top layers of nails off. FOLLOW DIRECTIONS
Great product. Pays for itself after two manicures!
