For having fairly thin, straight hair, these clips don't really hold much at all. Sure, theyre small, which is ideal to not show off every 'clip' in the hairstyle, but they literally dont close even for a tiny chunk of hair, unless I fully bend them to a V shape. For the price of them, I could've got a lot more of another brand or style similar in size that works well (as I previously had, but we all know, anything for the hair seems to ALWAYS go missing :P)

they do not snap close on your hair no matter how much or little hair you put in it, wish i could take it back :(

I have fine wave hair. I use these clips to curl my hair, much as you would bobby pins. I take segment, twirl and coil and use the clips to place them. These clips are also great to keep smaller pieces of hair out of the way if you want a really neat pony tail. Just find ones to match the color of your hair.
