What a peculiar fragrance... When I first sprayed this on, I thought I had spilled some other product on my desk. Surely that heavy vaseline smell that flooded the room couldn't be coming from the scent called 'Angel'... After concluding that nothing had fallen over, only then did I decide that smell was, in fact, from the perfume.

The smell itself was not entirely unpleasant, but it was not something you would necessarily call 'pretty' either. Every attribute you might associate with an angel could likely be considered an antonym to this. It is neither light nor subtle, but dark and almost pervasive.

But after awhile, the scent changes. After maybe an hour or so, the medicinal qualities fade into something sweeter. The power, mystery, and peculiarity of it all remains, but the seductive and more beautiful notes finally come out.

It isn't something that I'd buy, the scent itself is just too strange for me. However, I'm really glad that I did get to try this sample. It is a really different experience; I can see why some people hate it and others adore it. I'll probably just keep the sample to myself and wear it on days that I don't plan on going out.

Wonderful, light, scent-not too flowery or woodsy , almost an essence of honey. The name fits the perfume well. This scent is absolutely one of my favorites, appropriate for all year long.
