I chose a synthetic bristle because my natural brushes lose their shape so I thought I'd give this a try. The bristles blend well, but the are very prickly and make foundation application uncomfortable. I think the lighter colored bristles are too stiff, because I also bought some shadow brushes with the darker bristles that are fine.

It's great for thinner and lighter products. I used to apply my BB Cream with it (a bit thicker) and I wasn't really impressed with how it would spread and apply... but when I use it for my tinted moisturizer, it's perfect.
