I'm pleased with the iron. My hair looks so much better using the iron. I keep the heat around 350 since my hair is gray and colored. Really does a nice job! The only thing that could be improved upon would be to make some ridges on the handle so it is easier to grip. have to be careful not to drop it!!!

I bought this with high hopes and all the good things I had heard about Chi... I did not experience them at all! I have thick wavy frizzy hair that has had some damage. The iron did not work well unless I turned the heat up all the way; and even then it did not straighten after 1 pass let alone 3 passes. And for how high I had the heat this concerned me - the iron never seemed to help my hair retain any moisture. The few things I liked that made me wish this iron worked were the cord wrp - this was a great feature, also how fast it heated up and the fact you could lock the temp, this was amazing!
So sad it was horrible.

I use this daily. On day 2 the digital screen broke and is now stuck half way in the flat iron. The iron still works, just thought for the price it would be better made. First Chi product that I've been disappointed in.

I recently bought this one to replace the HotTools iron that I hated. The CHI is fabulous so far. Even in humid conditions after I've straightened my hair it doesn't get frizzy. It also has a great temperature controland works with little heat!I'm hoping that it continues to work as well months from now!

This was my second Chi, the first one broke so they exchanged it for another and this one broke tooo. It damages hair and is not actual ceramic

I GOT THIS EXPENSIVE CHI FOR XMAS LAST YEAR 2011 AND I'M ALREADY ON MY 4TH ONE EXCHANGED BECAUSE THEY ARE WORTHLESS. THEY STOP WORKING AFTER A COUPLE OF MONTHS USING IT. I'M VERY DISSAPOINTED. WORST PART IS THAT I PROBABLY CAN'T EVEN GET MY MONEY BACK WITH ULTA BECAUSE IT WAS A GIFT!

The flat iron is great when it works! This will be the second time I'm returning it to the manufacture. I would not recommend this product!

I've had my chi for about 7 months and it stopped working when heated to 410 and yesterday morning it just stopped working COMPLETELY! It worked well while it lasted but if i had a chance to buy it again... i wouldn't!
