I've had 3 Chi hair dryers and within 6 months it only blows cold hair. So frustrating!!! My Chi flat iron I've had for like 10 years and still works great! I thought by getting a Chi brand hair dryer I would have it for several years, but not the case. Save yourself the trouble and just go with another brand.

Wish I would have read reviews before my purchase! Like others, I found this dryer to work great at first but within a short amount of time it was just blowing cool air. A lot of money spent on a product that did not last long.

The CHI Pro is quiet and lightweight and works well until it breaks. I have used the dryer 1x a day for the past year and a half and suddenly there is a short/bad connection where the electric cord enters the handle. I would return the dryer if I could find my receipt - I will not be replacing the broken dryer with another CHI.

I have had three, yes, three CHI hair dryers and they all ended up the same way. After several months they simply blow cold air. It must be a design defect and they should fix it. I have read other reviews and they had the same experience. I would never buy CHI again.
