Heats up fast, straightens hair fast, and after about a year, the cord cracked and it shorted out. But, because it worked so well, I bought another. And with the sale that was going on, it was a great bargain as well!

It ordered this online from ULTA. I've never owned a CHI but I have friends that do. I thought it was suppose to get really hot and make my hair shiny and smoothe. It does none of that. I wouldn't recommend buying this, or even purchasing online... Go to the store and test it out or something if you can.

This is my first Chi and I cannot believe I battled with my old flat iron as long as I did. My hair is thick and after I blow dry it, it gets pretty frizzy. The Chi iron tames the frizz and leaves my hair shiny. Also, it takes a lot less time to style my hair with the Chi than with my old flat iron.

I love this thing! I have very think hair but this flat iron straightens my hair in one pass. It also allows me to curl my hair very quickly. The limited settings really isn't an issue because it gets so hot.

I love this flat iron! This is the 3rd time I've purchased this exact same flat iron. I recently bought one to replace my old one that was originally purchased in 2007. It lasted 6 years and went on several internationally trips before it started to act strange. It heats up fast and is the perfect size to straighten, curl and flip. If you buy this, you will have a high quality flat iron that will last you a long time.
