This product only heated up to 350 and it really needs to heat to 400 for maximum effectiveness.

The product works great. I didn't realize when I purchased it that it does not have adjustable heat settings, just an on/off switch. But thats fine! I have super thick hair and I have cut in half the time it takes to straighten it with this straightener! The cord is RIDICULOUSLY long but thats cool too.

Heats up fast, straightens hair fast, and after about a year, the cord cracked and it shorted out. But, because it worked so well, I bought another. And with the sale that was going on, it was a great bargain as well!

It ordered this online from ULTA. I've never owned a CHI but I have friends that do. I thought it was suppose to get really hot and make my hair shiny and smoothe. It does none of that. I wouldn't recommend buying this, or even purchasing online... Go to the store and test it out or something if you can.
