I like the fact that it smooths my hair and holds it very good. I wish it wasn't quite so hot or I could adjust the heat because I find that it does fry my ends a little bit with my fine hair.

I have been looking to get a Chi flat iron for a while now and settled on this one because it came free with the purchase of the Chi Touch Dryer (which I am also very pleased with!). This straightener is the best one I've owned...also, for the sake of full disclosure, the most high-end, expensive one I've owned. But this flat iron is so effective; my hair is straight from the time I do it in the morning around 6:30, till the time I go to bed at night. It does get super hot pretty quickly, which is both good and something to be cautious about. All-in-all, I have no complaints about this straightener and hope it lasts me a long time!

Really like this flat iron except for one thing - while you are holding it, the end of the iron where it closes and opens - near the cord - some times it pinches the palm of my hand.

The iron is fine and was received promptly. At time of purchase the order was said to include a free sampler that was never received. Contacted customer service via email and I am still waiting to hear from them after a couple of weeks. Not the best customer service level.
