Love love love this product! First tried it when my mom gave me a sample, i noticed the difference right away. My skin felt smoother and clearer. I have been using for a couple months now and my skin is the clearest its been in so long. I've been suffering from acne since middle school and i am now a sophomore in college. Worth every penny! I have never been more confident with my skin, i'm not afraid to look in mirrors anymore.

I believe that this works best if you have oily skin. My skin is so oily that i use alcohol on it twice a day and it does not dry out. I read that some reviewers said it dried out there skin, this was not a problem whatsoever for me. I recommend using a trial/sample first to see how it works for you.

I can't say enough great things about this product.

I tried lots of different acne product and so far this is the one that actually works for me. I had clear skin as a teenager, and started having acne when i was 27. I've been using this for the past week and i can already see improvements on my skin. It does dry out your skin, so make sure you use good moisturizer to balance it out.

I have combination and acne prone skin. I used this product for two weeks and did not see any improvements on my skin. I can't say that this product does work because that is a general, but false, statement - especially due to the vast number of positive reviews by other consumers. This product just doesn't work for my particular skin/acne problem. It is very easy to use - which includes ease of holding the product, dispensing the lotion, opening/closing the cap, portability in terms of overall shape and size.

I'm 30 years old and have used many different products. I have oily skin and feel like I have found a system that works to minimizes my acne. I only use this product in the morning after I wash (with the Clearsonic Acne Brush and Mario Badescu Cleanser), Toner (Mario Badescu), then once the toner is dry (10-15 min) I apply to my areas prone to acne the Effaclar DUO Acne Treatment, then once this dries I apply my moisturizer (Origins), then I start applying my make-up!

I have used this product once a day for a week, and I do notice a marked difference in skin clarity. The two things that bother me are the smell (it's too chemical) and the fact that it does mildly irritate the skin even when using a very thin layer. Yet, I can look over these two things if it does clear up my skin, which it seems to be doing.

This product has been a lifesaver for me! See my review on the Effaclar Serum for more details on this line. This product completely cleared my severe adult acne. I am 38 years old and have been dealing with severe adult acne since getting off the birth control pill almost 2 years ago. This is the only thing that has worked. The only con I have to this product at all is that when you first start using it, start slowly because it will make your skin flake at first. I now use it morning and at night and no longer have any problems with that. It is much gentler than most topical benzoyl peroxide formulations that I have used. I also put it on after I apply the Effaclar Serum which may be helping my skin tolerate it. This product and the Effaclar product line are the best I have ever used.

This is a great product! I don't have much acne just the occasional one that pops up with menses but it was great for those! Although the product was great I am not sure I will be returning to the Logan, UT ULTA store. The customer service was horrible!!

I've been suffering from a sudden burst of inflamed acne since about two years ago (I'm 21 now) and I have tried everything! From doctor prescriptions to drugstore items to high end acne products-- and NOTHING was working. My mom finally bought Effaclar DUO for me and to be honest, I thought it wouldn't work since everything else didn't, but I tried it anyway. My life has changed. My skin has cleared dramatically after 2 weeks and I honestly cannot even believe it. Please give this product a try, especially if nothing else has worked for your acne.

I have had mild acne since I was a teen - nothing major, but I always had 1-2 stubborn breakouts in my t-zone. My skin was alright enough until I came across the oil cleansing method and it completely wrecked my skin - breakouts and scarring everywhere! I never had scarring before. How frustrating. Anyway, after several months, I finally got my skin back to the old, mild breakout pattern with the help of a mild cleanser, oil free moisturizer and daily BP/SA. I have tried everything out there, and this is the only product that FINALLY cleared up my skin completely. My skin is used to BP products, so it did not dry me out significantly. I have used this for two months now, and this is the first time in almost 2 decades I have completely clear skin. I am amazed, and wish I would have found this a year ago... I could have probably saved myself some of the scarring I ended up with!
