1. Remove cap.
2. Twist the dial on the bottom of the pen (it will only turn one way) to release the whitening serum into the brush tip. Keep twisting until the tip is saturated. (It may take many turns of the dial during your first use, but won't take as long for later uses.)
3. With an up-and-down motion, apply a thin layer with the brush to the front surfaces of teeth that are visible when you smile. Apply extra serum to darker areas, and don't apply any serum on the gums.
4. Replace the cap.
5. Allow the serum to dissolve naturally on your teeth. Don't eat, drink, or rinse for at least 20 minutes to allow it to work. You don't have to remove anything from your mouth - it's safe to swallow the amount used in one application.
6. Repeat twice daily for a week to whiten teeth, or once a day to maintain a white smile.

Well I thought I would try this before forking over $35+ on crest whitestrips (which I've used before). This stuff didn't really do anything. I think if I had used some product like whitestrips first that this would help in prolonging the white. But used alone is pretty much ineffective. It does go on easy and doesnt leave my teeth sensitive like whitestrips do.

On the Go Smile is literally just that. You only have to dab it on the teeth you want to whiten and do not eat or drink for 20 minutes. The taste is not unpleasant and you do not have to rinse when the 20 minutes are up. You can toss it in your purse and put it on when you know you won't be eating or drinking for a little bit.
It also works very well. I tend to get nicotine stains on my two front teeth. After 3 or 4 applications, those stains were noticeably lighter and it has only gotten better since.
My only quibble is that because the gel is clear it is hard to figure out whether you have used up all the gel.

This is very convenient for carrying in your purse and for touch-ups throughout the day, however, it just doesn't seem powerful enough to work by itself. I think I will try it in conjunction with Crest White Strips. I do like the taste!
