These clips allow me to section my hair out to concentrate on one area at a time.

I thought these clips would be strong enough to hold up parts of my hair while straightening the other parts. Wrong. They don't have the strength to hold without sliding. I guess they might work well with very thin hair. It's like the clamping spring needs to be stronger.
