Si Lolita is unusual in that it uses food/spice notes without coming across as gourmand, and uses floral notes without managing to smell like a hothouse bouquet. Top notes of fresh flowers and citrus make it refreshing for spring/summer, but the main event is the combination of elemi, patchouli, tonka bean, and amber which form a snuggly skin-scent base that lasts for hours after the flowers fade. This base is rich enough to make Si Lolita work even in cooler weather, but it is never overpowering. Overall, a nicely done fragrance for the young-at-heart. The bottle is charming - for anyone who doesn't take herself too seriously and appreciates a bit of whimsy on the dresser. [I took off one lippie because ULTA only carries the eau de toilette, and I prefer the longer-lasting eau de parfum.]

The product is fine, I thought we were purchasing the Lolita Limpicka that is in the blue apple bottle, my favorite fragrance. This one is too spicy for me but I kept it to give it a try.

this was an impulse buy ... i wanted to take advantage of ULTA's free gift with fragrance purchase! :)

i searched "patchouli" in ULTA's keyword search because i absolutely love the earthy scent. i was pleased find that lolita lempicka released a perfume that uses patchouli in its base notes. i love lolita lempicka's signature perfume so i thought i'd give this a try - without testing it out first.

in my opinion:
+the bottle presentation is very cute
+delicate scent
+subtle; great for daily use
+nice blend of floral, earth and spice
-too light for evening use and signature scents

definitely worth trying if you're looking for something new.

I bought this on a whim and was pleasantly surprised!! loved this scent...not your everyday scent...try it, you wont be disappointed!
