I have used this product on my natural frizzy and curly hair. Considering I live in Texas and humidity is my nemesis I am really impressed with this product. It made my hair manageable and shiny. It smells somewhat like Pledge wood cleaner when you initially spray it but that quickly goes away. I have used it on my biracial children's hair with great results as well.

Does not weight hair down. It does smell like lemon when you use it, but the smell does not stay for long.

In my opinion this product is pricey for what it does/how much you need to use. It's a dry mist and seems as if nothing goes on your hair. I've used it twice and I can see the difference when I style my hair; however, it appears the product may be gone after less than a dozen uses!.

I have been using this product for a little over a week. It has a nice lemon scent when applied but that fades rather quickly (which I appreciate, so I can still enjoy my shampoo smell). It seems to be protecting my hair, although its a dry spray and I am not sure how well it is soaking in and protecting. I like that it is not sticky. My hair is looking and feeling great! I will buy this product again!

All you need to know are a five key things about this item.

1. It DOES PROTECT against heat. I flat iron my dyed and chemically treated hair almost every day and often blow dry it too. Fried hair means damaged hair.

2. It does not make your hair feel sticky or stiff (like it's been sprayed with gel) as some other products would.

3. It is LIGHTWEIGHT. I can't feel any sort of grease in my hair. But also this is going with the fact that I don't use half the bottle in one go. You don't need to spray in globs of it. Only mist your hair and be sure to get the undersides as well as the back of your hair.

4. The smell of the product is fair, it's clean and not overpowering as to make it unbearable or masking to other fragrances.

5. It works best with other products. Don't rely on this, OR ANY OTHER SINGULAR PRODUCT, to keep your hair healthy. Use good quality shampoo/conditioner, use a hair repair cream, I use one for after a shower which is rinsed out and one for after heat treatment for shine and nourishment. This product just makes sure my hair feels as natural as it used to.

I have very curly hair and tend to straighten it a lot. I have used other heat protectants, but never felt they were quite living up to what they promised.

After reading the reviews, a lot had said that it sprays dry. This is true and works great! Before it felt like my hair was almost frying with wet products. I use this before I blow dry and when I'm getting ready to straighten or curl.

The only bad thing is the smell. It has a strong lemongrass odor that I'm not fond of, but doesn't leave your hair smelling like it, you only smell it when you spray it. If you're sensative to odors, maybe turn the fan on or open a window.

I chose this product with my ULTA points because I was looking for a heat protecting spray on days when I just "blowout" my hair when it's dry. It did not seem to do much of anything and left my hair feeling a little crinkly. I haven't used it on wet hair prior to drying & styling so perhaps I would have better results there. Unfortunately, it also has a strong odor that I find displeasing. I probably would not buy this product since I don't feel the price is worth it.
