Excellent 'neutral' eye color!!!!!
from Chicago, IL
I have had Taupe Craze for almost a year and I love it. I wanted to try another neutral palette that wasn't as pinky as the taupe, and the Gris Fatale was perfect! It is neutral, but more on the cool instead of warm side. The look you get depends on how heavily you apply it. I have found that it stays on all day and night, never have to reapply. It looks great when I wear black/white/gray. My taupe compact has lasted almost a year, and it is nowhere near dead! I use the stuff every day. The price is well worth it because it lasts long. If I had to pick a con it would be that the crease highlighter is darker than I would want, so I have to apply it very gently and blend a lot. However it does give you the option to do a more heavy, nighttime look. Overall I am extremely happy with the Lancome eye palettes, and I have no idea how I ever used drugstore makeup before!!

Not at all what I was hoping for
This is one of those eyeshadow cases that shows you where each color is supposed to go on your eye in order to get the desired look that is pictured on the box. I was so excited because I loved the look of the picture and had been looking for these exact colors. But then I opened the case and put the colors on exactly as they instructed. It looked NOTHING like the picture! Then I had my friend apply it on me in case there was something I wasn't understanding, and it came out the same. The colors do not match the picture whatsoever and the look the instructions give you is not pretty. So I wore it around the house anyway since it was so expensive, and it didn't even last 4 hours! And I had a primer on too! I can't believe I spent so much money on this. It's worth like a fifth of what I paid for it.
