Hypnose Drama Mascara - Excessive Black

I wanted thick lashes but this product gave me thick clumps - brush does not separate lashes at all (weird brush too). I like many other Lancome products but not this mascara.

Unlike other products I've purchased from this brand, this mascara was a mess.

I was looking for a different mascara in the Lancôme line but decided on this one after seeing the display. I've tried 3 different Lancôme mascara s and they've all been great, and helped my small eyes and short lashes pop! I don't so end a ton on cosmetics, but this mascara is worth it to me!

This mascara is great! The trick (after several attempts)is to use long, slow, even strokes from the base of the lashes to the tip. Too much side-to-side wiggling puts way to much mascara on the lashes that will clump and be difficult to pull through the length of the lashes. Also, more than 2 coats will get too clumpy. It's not necessary to wait for each coat to dry either. Best if one has great lashes to begin with - naturally long and curled. Slight flaking after several hours, not enough to really mar the quality of this mascara as a whole. Washes off VERY easily with face wash too.

I use this for every day wear, but it is a bit dramatic. So if you want to have a very subtle look, this may not be for you. But it really does what it claims to do. And best of all, there is no clumping. It is very easy to apply. I use the Lancôme primer with it, so that enhances the look even more.

I tried a sample of the hypnose star mascara and really liked it. The lady at the store said they wouldn't carry that product until january so she recommended hypnose drama and its even better!! My lashes are long but fine and this product made them look fuller.

I love this mascara ..it is really wet and you only need to apply a few times and youre eyelashes are thick! Atleast mine were. I def. love it.

I wear mascara every day, and wanted to try something new. It does make my lashes look longer and the black color was very dark, but it's very flaky. The second I put it on it starts to flake off and smudge a little. I don't think it worth the money, when other drugstore brands are just as good, if not better.

I would love this mascara, but once it dried, it flaked all over my face. Such a dissapointment because it does what it says as far as "drama". I went back to regular Hypnose and love it.
