I used Bare Minerals for a while. In pictures, I noticed it made my skin look older, because powder can do that, right? I decided to make a change. I'm in my 40's, so I don't want to look older than I am. Also, powder can settle in fine lines and accentuate them, so I decided to try this product. I'm very happy I did. My teenage daughter noticed immediately and said my face looked brighter and it looked like I wasn't even wearing makeup. I highly recommend! I am fair, blond, blue-eyed, and I use 1.2. It's a great match for me.

I love this product for about 5 hours. It covers great and it's long lasting but half way through the day it's almost like my pores are under a microscope. And be careful hugging your boyfriend if he's wearing white, he might just have an imprint of you face with him all day. Doesn't stay on well. If you can be careful it's a great product.

As soon as I put this on I knew this was the product for me! Most my friends tell me they don't even realize I have any skin make up on because it matches so well. It is even coverage and does not dry my face out. I will continue to repurchase!

I use this everyday. It's a great light weight foundation with coverage, too! I have sensitive skin and have never had any issues with it. This is the only foundation (since Prescriptives) that I've found to match my fair skin with yellow undertones. It is the most I've ever spent on foundation. It's a little pricey in my book. But the bottle lasts a LONG time! I don't think it's a poor value! I'm on my second bottle and will continue to buy. Smash box has recently changed the packaging. It used to show SPF on the label. According to regulations the SPF was lower than what they could claim as being an SPF product, so they've changed the package, not the formula.

Smooth finish, light with great coverage. Long wearing. Great on sensitive and/or dry skin. Love it....best foundation I have ever used.

I have never tried Smashbox products before, but I will never go back to anything else! The quality is unlike anything I have ever used. I have oily, uneven, acne prone skin and can't find anything to work for me, but I've found a keeper!! Doesn't make me break out, STAYS ON (that never happens even with the most expensive makeup and even airbrush makeup). Can't say enough good things!
Seriously this is the best foundation I have ever used. I have flawless skin ALL DAY with it and it doesn't even look like I have on makeup! I always read reviews about new products and most of the reviews don't hold true when I get the product, but this stuff- miracle!

I was having trouble with my foundation staying on all day and being able to cover up my ance scaring. Best foundation that i hvae tried! stay on ALL DAY long, covers everything and goes on smooth. It feels a little heavier than some of the foundations i've tried, but it does the job and i never get oily anymore!

I went into Ulta looking for a longwearing foundation to replace my old holy grail which I recently stopped using because of a formulation change. The Ulta sales girl suggested Studio Skin, which I had never even heard of before, although it has apparently been out for quite some time. I decided to take a chance even though I've never really been a fan of Smashbox and I'm so glad I did! It is VERY longwearing even on my combination/oily acne, rosacea-prone skin. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I'm in the lightest shade (1.1) and it is still a little too dark. I wish Smashbox would come out with a yellow-based 0.0 shade.
