This lip balm does everything it says it will to moisturizer your lips. It is very hydrating. My criticism is that it's too soft. If I apply it with anything but the lightest of touches it tends to break and I end up with a big lump if it on my lips.
To counteract that I keep mine in the freezer, which hardens it enough to he workable but is inconvenient because I obviously can't carry it with me.
Would I buy it again? Probably, if I could find it on sale. It's a great nighttime lip balm and I do like to put it in before bed, but it's too much hassle for me to pay full price.

I bought this chapstick because I have always been a fan of Burt's Bees. Unfortunately, this one fell short. Not only does it leave a horrible taste in my mouth, but it was extremely greasy, and didnt help my lips at all, due to it barely lasting an hour. If I had the chance, I would go back and get the regular burt's bees; it works a lot better than this one.

Recently i developed a very dry, chapped lower lip. I wanted to heal it fast and prevent it from happening throughout the winter. I tried a variety of products from high end Clinique, Clarins, Lancôme, to cheapy Chapstick , Carmax and Alba. You name it. . . I tried it.. .did I mention Vaseline? I tried the other Burt's Bees and was not getting the results.
When I tried this product, my lip healed within two days. I bought several sticks and keep one in my bed stand to put on before bed, one in my car to apply while driving, one in my purse, one at work. . . You get the picuture. This stuff rocks! My lips are now kissably soft (says my bf) on even the coldest days.

I bought this balm because I am a huge Burt's Bees Acne Treatment fan who also possesses the driest lips known to man. I figure with Burt's Bees being so natural, I'd be able to get a control on the drying factor with my lips by avoiding the drying agents typically used in other balms.
I wish I could pin-point why exactly, but this balm just does not work. It certainly goes on liberally and is arguably a bit oily. The taste puts my stomach off in some strange way and the texture of the balm is slightly gritty. I really gave this a try too, and used it for a few weeks. My lips developed that hard layer of dryness and became drier than they are naturally. I've since abandoned the product. It just doesn't work and I will not purchase it again.
It may be worth noting that I have purchased another all-natural product and my lips have made a full recovery.
