Comments about Rusk Heat Freak Ceramic and Tourmaline 1-1/2 Str8 Iron Hair Straightener:

I bought this and had never heard of the brand. I was in need of a flatiron and they didn't have the chi brand that I usually purchase. This worked better than any chi that I had owned. I would buy this again.

    Great Straightener

Comments about Rusk Heat Freak Ceramic and Tourmaline 1-1/2 Str8 Iron Hair Straightener:

My hair is wavy and gets a little frizzy if I do not blow dry it. With this tool I can go to bed with my hair wet and wake up with it being wild and STILL get it completely straight. I love that the plate size is larger and the swivel cord. I love this straightener!

Comments about Rusk Heat Freak Ceramic and Tourmaline 1-1/2 Str8 Iron Hair Straightener:

I first heard about this flat iron through my mother. When I visit her on the weekends I use her flat iron. I am always impressed every time I use it. I really wanted one for my own and finally purchased it. Once it arrived I immediately put it to use; however, it would NOT heat up.

OK, I was willing to give it another chance. I go to ULTA to return it for a new one. The second use was better, BUT it shut off randomly. I thought my finger was pressing on the button but it wasn't. It happened a few times in a single use.

The results it gives are awesome. I don't know if I ran into a "BAD BATCH", but because of the two times I had to return it, I am giving it one star. I am surprised nobody else has had this problem. Maybe this is why it's on SALE? Are they getting rid of the defective ones by marking them down to $80? I'm starting to wonder.

I returned it and fell in love with BROCATO.

I usually buy Chi products, but my hair dresser advised that she uses Rusk. Both are comparable in price. My particular Rusk has a wider iron section to get more of my hair. Products also heats up quickly. Nothing much I really don't like.

Very pleased with this purchase. I read all reviews after my Babyliss of 8 years stopped working. I thought I would give this try based on reviews and I am very pleased. With 3 long hair girls in the house it definitely gets a work out and we are very happy with the end result. Soft, shiny hair.

I bought this iron because I just purchased their blow dryer (speedfreak) about 3 months ago and it is AMAZING. I figured their iron would be amazing too, but my ultra chi leaves my hair better. This iron doesn't leave my hair with as much shine, and leaves my ends looking dry and stiff. Sticking with my ultra chi and returning the heat freak.

Comments about Rusk Heat Freak Ceramic and Tourmaline 1-1/2 Str8 Iron Hair Straightener:

I have been a loyal CHI customer for years. My CHI decided to stop working one day after only having it for a year. Frustrated by this and the expense I did my research and ventured outside my comfort box and purchased the RUSK Flat Iron. I figured if I don't like it I can return it. I have super curly hair and prefer my hair straight. Well to my surprise this flat iron is better than anything I have ever tried to straighten my hair. It heats up extremely fast, my hair gets poker straight(which is good for us curly hair girls) and the shine I have on my hair after I use is, is so amazing. I don't get that dried burnt ends as I always did with the CHI. I don't even have to put a serum on my hair after using it like I did with the CHI. For the value of this product it is soooo worth it. Very lightweight. The only thing I can say is that it looks and feels cheap but DO NOT let that fool you. This is by far better than any CHI flat iron out there. I will see how long it lasts before I can comment on the long term but I am beyond, beyond happy with this product!!
