Comments about Rusk Heat Freak Ceramic and Tourmaline 1-1/2 Str8 Iron Hair Straightener:
I have the Rusk Speed Freak hair dryer and love it, so I figured I'd give the straightener a chance. I have thick, medium length, wavy hair. After using it once, I had so many people compliment me on my "haircut," only it was just the straightener making my hair so smooth and shiny. It does not snag my hair at all (something I can't say about every other straightener I've used), and heats quickly. The only con, and not a bad one, is that it's difficult to get super close to my scalp. That's probably a good thing though; I don't want to fry my hair at the roots! Definitely recommend!

Comments about Rusk Heat Freak Ceramic and Tourmaline 1-1/2 Str8 Iron Hair Straightener:
Works great! Doesn't take long to heat up and can be used to curl hair due to round edges. Heat seems consistent so it makes styling hair quick. I like to use it with my Nexxus Heat Protexx Heat Protection Styling Spray as well as my Nexxus Humectress Luxe Ultimate Moisturizing Leave-In Spray.

Comments about Rusk Heat Freak Ceramic and Tourmaline 1-1/2 Str8 Iron Hair Straightener:
I straighten my hair daily, and needed a flat iron with multiple settings, was fast to heat up, and one that does not make my hair feel fried (I have fine hair, and having it feel fried has been a big complaint of mine with other flat irons). I researched many flat irons before purchasing; I used to own a Chi and have owned a variety of cheaper flat irons, none of which made me have a 'wow' feeling. This flat iron is very nice and I love how my hair looks after--smooths my fly aways and my hair is super straight. My hair actually stays straight throughout the whole day and into the next with this flat iron, which I cannot say the same for the previous ones I've used.
The only negative things I have to say is that occasionally it will snag my hair (not every use), and because only the 1.5" was offered it is a little bulky and therefore a little difficult to straighten my bangs (also, have not tried to curl my hair with it yet). I cannot comment on durability as I have only had it for a month. The big test will be this summer, as my hair likes to curl/wave with humidity. Hopefully this flat iron will continue to impress me!

Comments about Rusk Heat Freak Ceramic and Tourmaline 1-1/2 Str8 Iron Hair Straightener:
I purchased a Chi in the past, and my last one stopped working after a year. I decided it was time to try a new brand after a friend recommended it to me. It weighs less and has a longer handle than a Chi so it took a little getting used to, but it works perfectly for my curly hair!

Comments about Rusk Heat Freak Ceramic and Tourmaline 1-1/2 Str8 Iron Hair Straightener:
I love that the straightener has adjustable heating settings. Some days my hair is easier to straighten, which is weird, but it's helpful because I can adjust the heat accordingly to my needs.
It glides smoothly down my hair without snagging, and I've found that some straighteners leave my hair static-y, but this one doesn't!
I also use the Garnier Fructis Straightening Oil, which helps with static as well and protects the ends of my hair from splitting, and I've noticed that it keeps my straight hair last longer.
This straightener is absolutely worth the money!

Works great on straightening super curly hair sections and cowlicks without turning them into frizz. Heats up fast and can straighten a large section of hair quickly.

Comments about Rusk Heat Freak Ceramic and Tourmaline 1-1/2 Str8 Iron Hair Straightener:
Very good product, produces very high heat and leaves a nice shine with just one pass. Actually works much better than my former Chi and hot tools. My only petpeeve with it is that it does not come in the 1 inch so the plates are a little wider than I'd like them to be. With the smaller i have a bit more control on my shorter hair. Also, I prefer slightly heavier equipment, this one is very light almost too light for my tastes. The straightening ability on this piece is still excellent so I am very happy with my purchase. No regrets

Comments about Rusk Heat Freak Ceramic and Tourmaline 1-1/2 Str8 Iron Hair Straightener:
Had a Chi and the ceramic plates kept going out. Since I have relatively straight hair, I decided to go with a tool that was a little less expensive. I swear this iron works better than my Chi ever did. I am very pleased and loved the price!

Comments about Rusk Heat Freak Ceramic and Tourmaline 1-1/2 Str8 Iron Hair Straightener:
I just received this flat iron and I'm so happy I ordered it! It does a terrific job straightening my very curly hair and heats up quickly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a salon quality flat iron. I didn't give five stars because I just recently bought it and am hoping it will hold up for a very long time.
