I purchased a Chi in the past, and my last one stopped working after a year. I decided it was time to try a new brand after a friend recommended it to me. It weighs less and has a longer handle than a Chi so it took a little getting used to, but it works perfectly for my curly hair!

This was a great one! I brought it in my vacation and it was very useful! It got rid of my frizzy morning hair and my hair was straight most of the day. I really like it!

I love that the straightener has adjustable heating settings. Some days my hair is easier to straighten, which is weird, but it's helpful because I can adjust the heat accordingly to my needs.

It glides smoothly down my hair without snagging, and I've found that some straighteners leave my hair static-y, but this one doesn't!
I also use the Garnier Fructis Straightening Oil, which helps with static as well and protects the ends of my hair from splitting, and I've noticed that it keeps my straight hair last longer.
This straightener is absolutely worth the money!

Works great on straightening super curly hair sections and cowlicks without turning them into frizz. Heats up fast and can straighten a large section of hair quickly.

Very good product, produces very high heat and leaves a nice shine with just one pass. Actually works much better than my former Chi and hot tools. My only petpeeve with it is that it does not come in the 1 inch so the plates are a little wider than I'd like them to be. With the smaller i have a bit more control on my shorter hair. Also, I prefer slightly heavier equipment, this one is very light almost too light for my tastes. The straightening ability on this piece is still excellent so I am very happy with my purchase. No regrets

Had a Chi and the ceramic plates kept going out. Since I have relatively straight hair, I decided to go with a tool that was a little less expensive. I swear this iron works better than my Chi ever did. I am very pleased and loved the price!

I just received this flat iron and I'm so happy I ordered it! It does a terrific job straightening my very curly hair and heats up quickly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a salon quality flat iron. I didn't give five stars because I just recently bought it and am hoping it will hold up for a very long time.

totally worth it!
My hair is really curly and this Rusk made it pin strait and really really shiny ( looks like I just came from the salon kind of shiny) and soft. Plus, it really does heat up in under a minute!

Just make sure you follow the directions and don't leave it on for too long, I can see why the heating element would blow out if left on, this thing is powerful! I love it!!

I was really hesitant about spending this kind of $ but in the long run it's so worth it. I've been using a drug store bought "Remington" flat iron and it did the job, but my hair always looked fried and it took a long time to do. Finally, salon results at home with this Rusk. I'm really just amazed! :)

The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I've just used it for the first time tonight, so I don't know if it will break in a day or not. ( I doubt it but you never know )

I 100% recommend this product. It glides over your hair so smoothly, leaves it soft,shiny and pin strait, plus it takes no time at all too heat up!

I was hesitant to get this product as I have never used or heard of this specific brand. But I took a risk and I am so glad I did! I have used chi's for years and they are ok but this is the best straightener I've ever had! It cuts my straightening time in half and makes my hair so shiny all day. I thought it would be too big being 1 1/2 inch to curl with but it creates the perfect curl and lasts all day long. I definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a great straightener. And It also has a 2 year warranty so I don't have to worry about it going out in a year as the chi's usually do.
