This is the best flatiron I have ever purchased. In the past I've purchased other flat irons and it made my hair even more dry and brittle. I wouldn't choose any other it is definitely worth the money.

I don't know if I was just using a terrible straightener before, but when I made the switch to this one it was UNREAL! MY hair is relatively straight (a little wavy) so it doesn't take but a few minutes to get the look I desire. And once it's straightened...THAT'S IT! No need to worry about frizz or ends flipping up later in the day. AMAZING! Such a good purchase

For all of the black girls, these great reviews are most likely coming from women who do not have ethnic hair. This flat iron burned my hair (mainly my ends)It reminded me of putting a hot comb to my head. It sizzled my ends very badly. I spent weeks reading reviews and viewing you tube videos and was convinced this was going to be the best flat iron for my hair type which is for the most part very soft and manageble with very little kinks. The only thing I liked about it was that it could get very close to my scalp, was lightweight, and gliding through my hair very easily. But I hated the sizzling and steam coming from my hair. It gets extremely hot and I only set it at 15. Do not spend this much money on a flat iron until you have tried it at a salon or from a friend.

I have used Chi products for years and just recently switched to this after being disappointed in my last purchase from Chi on a flat iron. Chi just doesn't work well for hot & humid as it is in Texas. My daughters hair is ringlet curls all the way to her belt line and this iron smooths out her hair quicker than any product I've ever used. Our hair dresser even says this is a really good iron, since this purchase I would never go back to my Chi again. Only con would be if you have baby fine hair along the face line, it doesn't get those to well as they fall through the middle of the plates, other than that, YES I would definitely recommend it to any one!

This is my first flat-iron and I'm still learning how to use it. I've never been good at styling my hair, but this product definitely helps tame the frizz. I have thin, fine hair and was worried about damage. I like that it has adjustable heat, and so far, have not seen any damage.
