I would use these as a one-use only product as on first use my pad almost collapsed to flat. It is not as robust as other similar products I have purchased from other brands and the flimsiness makes it les easy to andle than a more stble pad.

I bought this product because of the style, I am always looking for something new and interesting, but this item has a significant flaw...there are no grippers and only 3 'teeth' on each side making this product very ineffective as a sole clip, I have to style my hair with other ties and then place the clip after I have already styled my hair...I have medium texture straight hair that is easily pulled back with regular clips so this should not have been an issue
