This mascara at fist pleasantly shocked me by how much it lengthened my lashes. My lashes were so long they scared my mom. Another couple of coats gives great volume. What I don't like thought is that it takes the curl our of my lashes and irritates my eyes. It also clumps a little.

I discovered this mascara after reading about it in a magazine I subscribe to. It's the best mascara I've tried in a long, long time. Lasts all day long, doesn't clump - just a great mascara! Hope they don't change or discontinue it.

This mascara does not smudge from what I've seen, but I don't live in a humid area. I love that the mascara held my curl, most mascaras don't, although I wouldn't say they were incredibly voluminous-- it lengthened and defined more than it created volume I think. I was able to apply multiple coats of this without it clumping up, although it never gave a huge amount of volume. Nonetheless I really love the mascara and it will definitely be repurchased.

I find that all the new and improved makeups always are never as good as the original. The covergirl mascara in the purple bottle still seems to be the best. It adds length and when its new it never clumps untill the last few weeks i use it.
