Although skeptical because it is a sulfate-free shampoo, I gave it a try when Nexxus discontinued my long-time favorite product. WOW! I like a shampoo to have lots of suds and lather well and this, to my surprise, did so with flying colors! It is a must for me to shampoo at least twice (and I leave the shampoo on for about 5 minutes to soak in) because I have VERY long hair and only wash it once or twice a week. My hair is thick & fairly straight and I mostly use rollers and the occasional curling iron for flowing curls. My hair is definitely one of my best features and I receive lots of comments. The amazing thing about this shampoo was that my hair remained clean and fresh for a week and was not even slightly oily at the scalp and had plenty of body and fullness. It really hydrates but doesn't weigh the hair down - leaves it light and bouncy. This is especially great for people with lots of thick, heavy hair. I don't know if my hair is as shiny but I have only used it three times. At first, I thought the smell was sort of medicinal, in my opinion, but I am getting used to it and kind of like it now. Another great plus is that it seems to leave less hair in the drain than before - we'll see. Highly recommend this product if you want soft hair that still styles well. For the sake of disclosure, I have not tried the conditioner...I am loyal to another brand (for now ;)

I love this product! My hair saloon uses it and my hair always looks amazing afterwards for days- no lie. I feel like it thoroughly cleans hair without stripping it dry, so you do get a lot of use out of just one wash. The problem is that it is too pricey and not a good bargain. The bottles are too small to match the ridiculous price tag. If it came down just to $20 a bottle or was in larger bottles, I would make this my primary shampoo, but it is just too much for a middle-class woman to spend on one hair product.

I washed my hair with this shampoo (as well as the conditioner) every other day. It made my hair feel so silky soft and smooth. It helped to tame some of the frizz I have on a daily basis too which is an added bonus. The only con is that its price is slightly high, but I feel that the benefits far out weigh that one little con. Go and buy the travel size if you want to test it out first, that's how I got my mom to use this brand also!

This is the absolute best shampoo and conditioner product I have ever used. I have hard to style hair that never seems to look like I want it and this product make the process easier. It has a nice smell and it doesn't weigh the hair down, doesn't make it limp, and doesn't make the hair straw like. The only thing that sucks is I am a poor college student and pureolgy is expensive :(

I am 2 years post relaxer and had been looking for a new moisturizing shampoo and I got a free sample from a salon in Chicago. This is awesome!!! It brought my natural hair and extensions back to life after just one use. My hair is super soft and manageable and again all this after one use. I NEVER write reviews for anything, but I wanted to share my experience with this product. A little definitely goes a long way. Out of the travel size bottles, I got about 4 shampoos and 4 conditioning treatments and my hair is 4B/C thick! I plan to purchase the full size bottles from the salon I got the samples from. Only con, it's a little pricey, but for me worth every penny :)

I don't usually notice huge differences between shampoos, but I knew that this shampoo and conditioner was amazing immediately! After the first use my hair felt and looked better than it ever has! The shampoo itself lathers up very well and only takes a small amount even though I have very long hair. I tried "Living Proof Restore" before I tried this, and I'm so glad I returned that and made the switch. I can't comment on how well it holds color because I had gotten my hair highlighted about 6 weeks before I tried this shampoo/conditioner. Despite the hefty price, I plan on staying with this shampoo and buying some for my mom because I think she will love it too!

I have long, strong, coarse hair that really responds to the products I use. This shampoo and conditioner make so much difference in my hair, that it it worth the cost.
Love this product. I have been using this brand now for 3 years, and its fantastic. The most important thing for me, is it helps maintain my color and doesn't cause it to fade. Why spend all that money on your colorist, if you are just going to wash it down the drain with sub-par shampoo that strips the color. It costs a bit more, but it is totally worth the extra week or two I can go between colors, and saves me money in the long run.
It's great for helping your color last longer
I use this product daily even though I'm not coloring my hair anymore.
