Colour Stylist Fortifying HeatSpray Protective Primer

This is an amazing heat protector. I have been searching for awhile and this is perfect paired with the Redken Duo Shield 07 Colr Protecting Gel Cream. These two are the best products ever! I color my hair dark dark brown and these products paired with a color protecting Shampoo/Conditioner will keep your color in until you have to get your roots done! The Pureology protects and keeps it shiny but it does not make your hair silky. It does it's job, protecting your hair.

My must haves

You don't need to use a lot of this product so will last awhile!! Can really feel the difference when I don't use it!! Only thing I would change is the fragrance I don't particularly like it.

Protects hair from damage

The first time I tried this product was at my friend's house. It worked great!! Then I purchased my own (which by the way was hard to fnd) and tried it as soon as possible. At first I sprayed too much and it left my hair heavy and very oily only on the crown of my head. Second time I sprayed the product onto my hands and touched only the ends of my hair. That was perfect. You'll have to practice how much to use because everyone has different hair. I have very long, thin hair. Overall, I'm happy with this spray.

Appears to protect against damage caused by using a straightener. At least so far, so good. Doesn't weigh down hair. Hair feels natural.
It is expensive for what you get.
