Comments about Essence Sun Club Matt Bronzing Powder:

I was looking for an inexpensive bronzing powder and I found it in the Essence collection. It has a wonderful fragrance and works so well. I would definitely recommend this product and will be buying more very soon.

Comments about Essence Sun Club Matt Bronzing Powder:

Things I like: size of pan is very generous, smells nice, good packaging
Things I am not fond of: The "blonde" was very light, orangey, peachy...strange almost looked like a blush, but not flattering color on me. It was too light to be able to bronze or especially contour, which is what I was hoping to do with this product.

...So it's a no-go for me. I really love other Essence products though.

Comments about Essence Sun Club Matt Bronzing Powder:

Matte bronzers are somewhat difficult to find in drugstore brands. Most bronzers are very glittery and orange. I bought the "blondes" shade of this Essence Matte bronzer and I was blown away. It's a lovely warm color, but it's not orange at all on my fair skin. The best part of this bronzer is the SMELL! It smells like coconuts and I absolutely LOVE it! Applying bronzer is now my favorite step of putting on my makeup just for the smell of this powder! I'll definitely repurchase.

Comments about Essence Sun Club Matt Bronzing Powder:

This powder is super soft, pretty natural looking, and great to use as contour. Most matte bronzers are too dark for me, but this one (in the "blondes/light skin" shade) works even on my ultra-pale face. Plus it smells good, which is kind of hard to find in lower-end makeup. Definitely a step up in quality from similarly priced drugstore products!

Comments about Essence Sun Club Matt Bronzing Powder:

I ran in to the store to purchase another brand that gets rave reviews and really isn't that expensive. They were out of my color. Luckily, a salesgirl showed me this Essence and the price is outrageously low! The smell reminds me of coconut-tanning oil. The color worked well since it blends and builds well. It does have fall-out and of course start with a little and build up from there. It is great for a little color and contouring. The powder is large! This was so worth the purchase and I might just switch to this compact from my old brand. Thank you to the salesperson!

Comments about Essence Sun Club Matt Bronzing Powder:

I'm a natural brunette but am currently a blonde so when I saw this had "blonde" on the label I thought I would try it. Honestly I would have as a brunette as well because I'm naturally so pale and this is the perfect kiss of color. I use it to contour my cheek bones and occasionally my nose or temples/forehead. Also great for cleavage or collar bones. One of the things I love about it is that it's a more muddy clay color rather than having too many red undertones which is what tends to make bronzer/contouring look so unnatural as shadows aren't usually reddish. I also absolutely adore the smell, almost like a dessert or pastry. Will definitely buy again!

Comments about Essence Sun Club Matt Bronzing Powder:

This is a great general bronzer for a good price. I use it in combination with the Cover Girl pressed powder. After moisturizing my face, I use a kabuki brush to gather some pressed powder and the bronzer together and put a light layer all over my face. This combination evens out my skin tone and gives me a shine-free matte finish. This bronzer does not leave me with an unnatural color or sparkly glitter like some have, or any more breakouts than I usually have and has lasted quite a while. This and the pressed powder is usually all I use with the occasional concealer for a light, everyday look.

                      Great value for the price!
