I'd give this a 5 rating if it had a citrus or minty smell. It doesn't smell bad but those are the scents I prefer. For some reason they smell 'clean' to me.

I really liked this face wash to use on a every few days basis, it does at first bring the dirt and grime up which caused a small break out but after the first couple of uses I noticed my pores were not as clogged as before.

I have used St. Ives products for years, until I recently found out that they were bought by Unilever and no longer cruelty-free. My old bottles say "Not Tested on Animals" but my recently purchased products do not. I will no longer be using or purchasing St. Ives and I am saddened with the companies new choices.
