Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Eden Eye Shadow Primer Potio:

I am Hispanic with genetic darker pigmented underye area. I try so mny ckcealers to help aid this area when I realized that using an eyeshadow primeralso under my eye as well as on top of eyelid! Now this doesn't solve my problem at all but definitely helps! I put it on every morning at 7:15a and I'd say without primer my eyeshadow is creasing by 11a-noon easily and with primer on it won't start creasing til maybe 5-6p. Good enough for me!!!!!

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Eden Eye Shadow Primer Potio:

I really like this primer, it's my favorite out of all the primers I have used so far. A little goes a long way for this product. It helps my eyeshadow last all day and does not crease at all- whether I've been out in the hot sun, at a party dancing and sweating like crazy, etc.

To apply this product I just put a little on my finger tip and then dab it onto my eyelids and blend it out, continuing a dabbing motion. Although it is a little bit tacky, which makes it a little, just a little, difficult to just go into doing my eye makeup right away, I don't mind because it's an easy fix. I just take a minimal amount of cream/light eyeshadow and dap it on top then go about with my eye makeup. I love this primer because it is nude so it really makes eyeshadows appear better. This is my favorite primer of all time. However, I am thinking about investing in Mac Painterly Paint Pot just to try it, but I don't see any use because I love this so much. I do want to try the Mac one though just because I can.

Bottom line is that yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

        original is better

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Eden Eye Shadow Primer Potio:

I'm a loyal user of the Original UDPP and loved that profits of Eden were being donated and that it had a little color but wasn't shimmery. I've tried using various amounts of the product and with/without eyeshadow and it still creases. I've never had an issue with the original one and am kind of disappointed this one doesn't work as well.

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Eden Eye Shadow Primer Potio:

Absolutely LOVE this eye primer. I get the most out of my eyeshadow despite having oily lids. However, it is VERY similar to Kiko brand eye base, which is a much less expensive alternative.

Comments about Urban Decay Cosmetics Eden Eye Shadow Primer Potio:

I got this on sale for either $10 or less, and for that value I think it's worth it. However, for $20-$24 dollars full price, there are too many flaws. Just go with the original instead of Eden. It looks a little bit yellow on my skin, but that's not a big deal when you're covering it in shadow. This color does not exactly blend right into your skin tone so I wouldn't recommend for darker skin. This stuff is so hard to get completely off. I use my makeup remover and wipes and it just takes the eyeshadow off and leaves the primer. I'm not sure if this is just stain or actual product being left being, so just a warning. Don't try and try and scrub to get it off because you'll hurt your eyes and create wrinkles.

I really want to buy the full coverage matte (Eden) but I'm worried if I try to apply eyeshadow that has pigmentations other than brown/neutral colors the primer will clash or leave a strange tint. Is this something to worry about?

Eden features a very neutral nude matte shade that should not interfere with the color of the shadows laid over top of it. In fact, by concealing any redness or discoloration on the eyelids, it helps shadows appear truer to color!

The skin under my eyes is really discolored. Little kids with no filters have come up to me and asked why my eyes were purple. i have no idea what product can cover it up. Would a primer cover it up?

Original applies nude and dries invisibly. Anti-Aging, like Original, applies nude and dries invisibly but also contains anti-aging ingredients like Dermaxyl and Kalpariane to help correct fine lines and wrinkles. Sin features a champagne shimmer finish. Eden features a nude matte finish. Greed features a yellow gold shimmer finish. Eden, Sin and Greed are shades that can also be worn as shadows or highlighters. All formulas feature a gliding texture and 24-hour crease-free wear.

I have extremely oily eyelids and all my eyeshadow always creases after approx 4 hours no matter what primer I use. Is this product matte, not sparkly? Does it work well holding onto eyeshadow for oily lids? Also, what is the best, longest lasting waterproof liquid eyeliner for oily eyelids, sensitive eyes?
            Thanks.

No, this product does not have an applicator. Use the squeeze tube to dispense a small amount - a little goes a long way! You can dab it on with your fingers or use an eye shadow brush. Apply like a lotion on your eyelid.
