I have used many flat irons and this is by far my favorite one to use. I bought it two years ago and it's still as effective as it was from day one. I have natural thick hair with a very tight curly pattern that can be difficult to care for. However, with the T3, it makes the job easy and quick, all while yielding beautiful results. I will definitely recommend this to friends as I have no complaints for it.

I had a 20% off coupon for anything in store, so I decided to get a CHI flat iron. I had a conair that that snaged and pulled out my hair, so "everyone" said CHI,CHI,CHI, thats the only flat iron to have. Blah, blah! The CHI did the samething. I took it back and looked at a few other CHI flat irons. The problem with them and most other irons is the plates don't touch at the same time, one end of the plates touch before the other end, so you have to squeeze the iron and then it pinches one side harder then the other and it pulls out hair. I then walked around Ulta and held up a lot of irons up to the light to see how the plates touched. This iron is the only that I found in the hundred dollar range that the plates touched at the same time. It has never pulled and its great.

I have thick, wavy hair and this flat iron did not do the job. I was especially disappointed after the beauty consultant told me that this was the "best one to buy" right now since all the other brands are now made in China. Well, so is this one. It too long to straighten just one piece of hair - I had to go over it multiple times and the effect did not last as long as it does with my CHI.

I have really curly hair and read review after review about which flat iron is best. This is indeed a very nice flat iron but it didn't get hot enough to keep my hair straight all day. I would recommend this flat iron to someone that doesn't have super curly hair.

After having several straightening irons including the Chi I found that this one did not snag my hair. It didnt give that " perm" or burnt smell after straightening it. Then running it through it's like it just fell like silk. I wasn't use to having silk like smooth hair that wasn't too hot to touch. It is an amazing product
