use it to apply tincture or cream to a cut, bite or other similar
clean ears
cleanup mascara around the eyes-much better then fingers
sometimes to apply eye shadow around eye or give a smudge look with liner.

I have used others before and they were to tough and not as soft.

This is not a "Q-TIP" but a relatively sister item. When in use the sticks bend easily with each pass. So if you really need them for hard to reach places or even your ears, the sticks will bend and you will NOT get the results needed.
