It straighten my hair but still has body. I love the way my hair does when I use it. Wish I could get a 2 inch Electra curling brush to go along with it but haven't found one.

I purchased this curling iron because I have used many Hot Tools styling products and been pretty satisfied. This was my first tourmaline however (the purple one). I have long hair and was looking for something that would give my hair some body and wave without the frizz.
It worked for the frizz free look, but not for the body. My hair was pretty flat after I used it. I even used it with hair product, with out it, after the shower on clean hair, and after I let it go overnight...Needless to say it wasn't very satisfied. I returned it since it was over $50 I felt it wasn't doing the job. I was excited to try it, but I think I will stick with the gold Hot Tools curling iron. They have a 2" in gold and its cheaper.

This product does create waves but the waves just fall right out in 5 min even with high end products. Even on a normal temp setting, my hair felt fried on the ends (just temporary) but who wants to damage their hair anyway. I returned it.

Best results use is after blow drying or on dry hair. Hairspray after the style will keep the Iron clean and clear of gunk. Would definitely like stand with it or something to keep off the surface and when traveling have a carry case to keep the iron from getting damaged.

My hair is too long to style with round brush and blow dryer. This curling iron is easy to use and with a little Kenra 25 sprayed on the root area, the body last all day! I really like this product and would recommend it to anyone with long hair.
