I bought this brush with the recommendation of an Ulta stylist, and what she told me was correct. While drying, this brush gives excellent control. I love it. But, the tiny bristle heads are a little sharp and are quite harsh on my scalp. I would recommend this brush for styling, but not for everyday "hair brush" use. I use my wooden paddle brush to "brush" out my hair and this new ceramic paddle brush when I am drying my hair.

Works well to staighten and smoothe thick wavy hair. Love that is allows air to flow through the brush allowing hair to dry faster.

This brush did a great job drying my very thick hair. The vents as well as the large paddle shortened the time I would normally have to spend to blowdry my hair. It was gentle on the head.
Unfortunately, the bristles did not last long! Very disappointed in that. First I started noticing that some of the bristle stems were separating. Then it was a couple of pinheads missing. Now just a few months of use, almost a third of the pinheads are gone, so it scratches my scalp when I use it.
I wish it was more durable. I have purchased less expensive brushes that have lasted much longer than this.
