My nail person liked using the base coat and top coat, and it worked well with the polish I have been using. I wanted to try the polish too but the color choices were all too dark for me. Please add some lighter pinks to the selection.

i purchased this set after several of my darker nail polishes stained my nails through my clear base coat. i have a navy blue M.A.C. color and it still seeped through a little, but much less than with my clear. it dries reasonably fast, but the next color that goes on will take a little longer to dry. so far i did notice that, when used with butter nail polishes, they tend to last longer. i like to pick and chip off my nail polish (bad habit) and it even seemed to resist that. i haven't used the topcoat yet, but i figured i'd better just get the combo, because i used a coupon for my purchase.

You must use the base and top coat if applying the sparkly Butter nailpolish, otherwise it chips and peels off in a sheet.
