Comments about Real Techniques Stippling Brush:

This is my favorite brush for applying liquid foundation. I've tried other stippling brushes and have spent some big $$$ on high end brushes but I always come back to this one. It just applies and blends flawlessly and I absolutely love it!

        Biggest let down

        By Anemarie18

        from Denmark

Comments about Real Techniques Stippling Brush:

I purchased most of the real techniques brushes, and I like them so much. However, this one was a swing and a miss. Started shedding after only 3 months and I wasn't even using it on a regular basis. Last week the brush fell completely off the handle, and had to throw it away. :( waste of money

Love the Real Techniques brushes. This is the latest addition to my collection. I use it to blend when I contour or to finish if I'm mixing different foundations. Easy to build your coverage.

Clumps of bristles came out first wash

          By Aoife

Comments about Real Techniques Stippling Brush:

I bought this a few weeks ago and washed it for the first time using Mac brush cleaner and as i was cleaning it bristles started to appear on the pad and loads came out. I'm very disappointed, I didn't think this would happen from such a well known brand

Good all-purpose brush for applying liquid make-up and buffing it into skin. Use a light touch for best results - don't "grind" away on skin.

Love this brush but it didn't lasts long

Comments about Real Techniques Stippling Brush:

I love this so much (as I love Sam and Nic). This was very good for liquid/cream foundation. It's cheaper than the MAC brush stippling brush. I had this less than a year but it started to sheds (not only few hairs but ALOT) :( I have MAC and other good brushes and I take care of them really good like I did with Real Techniques stippling brush. I was very happy to use this before, I just hope they will solve this issue. I'm sure there a lot of buyers who experienced this too.

Stippling Brush has ultra-plush, synthetic taklon bristles that are hand-cut and 100% cruelty-free. Its design allows you to build, buff, and blend to your desired level of coverage.

                        A:

Yes, the Stippling Brush is designed to give you more coverage due to the densely packed bristles and narrower brush head. It provides more targeted application and will use more product. The powder brush disperses product more broadly and is meant to give you a more natural finish.

                        A:

Both brushes can be used to apply liquid foundation. The Expert Face Brush has denser bristles, so you will get a more matte application overall than you will with the Stippling.

                    • Q:

Could this brush be used with the bare minerals bareskin serum? Or with any liquid foundation? I'm trying to find a brush for liquid foundation that is cheap and won't leave the makeup streaky. I need a medium to full coverage without looking cakey! Since I have oily/combination skin I need something that won't clog pores as well.
                      -Thanks! :)

                        A:

Yes, this brush would work well to apply bareMinerals bareSkin Foundation and any liquid foundation! This brush actually can be used to apply all types of makeup including powder, liquid, and cream foundations, as well as powder and cream blushes. It provides airbrushed, high-definition results.

With bareSkin, apply 4 drops for medium coverage and 6 drops for full coverage. bareSkin is also oil-free, non-comedogenic, and great for all skin types including oily/combination skin.
