Comments about Real Techniques Stippling Brush:

I like the size of this brush and how it applies and blends light-medium coverage liquid foundation. The one drawback would be how much makeup is absorbed into the brush. I feel like more product ends up in the bristles than on my face, which I feel like uses more and I don't like, especially for expensive foundation.

I like this brush for the fullness of the bristles. I can use less product but cover more area. It allows me to apply my foundation without using too much, avoiding the "cake face". It's also very easy to clean. I am VERY satisfied!!

Comments about Real Techniques Stippling Brush:

I really like this brush. It blends my foundation beautifully. It gives an airbrushed finish. The bristles are very soft and easy to clean. The brush has a large flat bottom so it can stand up which I like so I can just stand it on my bathroom counter. This brush is very versatile and can be used for many different makeup applications. I have used it as a blush brush and as a powder brush to set my foundation. The only drawback is I have read many reviews saying that the brush falls apart. Some brushes fell apart after washing once. So I am worried this will happen. But so far it has not but I have only had this brush a week. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Comments about Real Techniques Stippling Brush:

I bought this brush a few months back after trying the Real Techniques core collection and their line of eyeshadow brushes. The reviews on this one all said it was excellent for applying liquid foundation, and I agree. It's easy to use and distributes product evenly. It also blends out well, so if you accidentally get too much on your brush, it's easy to fix. I use it every time I put my foundation on.

The only downside for me is that it's a little bit difficult to clean. I use a spray brush cleaner, which is hard to get it all the way up into the bristles. Since this brush really sucks the product up, a lot of it can get caked deep into the bristles. I recommend cleaning it after every single use. Doing that has cut down on the amount of gunk leftover. Otherwise, this is a terrific brush, especially considering the price.

Comments about Real Techniques Stippling Brush:

Easiest brush to use, even for beginners. It creates an even, air brushed finish that compliments any foundation. This brush covers every pore--meaning you will not see any blemishes, blackheads, or brown spots when using this! I am not advanced with make up, but everytime I use this, I always get compliments on my skin tone/make up.

Comments about Real Techniques Stippling Brush:

I have used this brush for about a year now. I absolutely loved it until the whole head of fibers/hairs just started falling out. I'm not referring to natural shedding. I mean the whole head of hair is falling out!! I'm super disappointed, especially considering I have cheaper brushes that I have had for years, and they haven't fallen apart like this. I don't think I'll repurchase.

                      A:

Yes, this brush can be used to apply, buff, and blend all types of makeup, including powder (both pressed and loose), liquid, and cream foundations, as well as powder and cream blushes. It does not have a mattifying effect, as this has more to do with the product you're applying rather than the applicator you're using.

                      A:

Yes, the Stippling Brush is designed to give you more coverage due to the densely packed bristles and narrower brush head. It provides more targeted application and will use more product. The powder brush disperses product more broadly and is meant to give you a more natural finish.

Both brushes can be used to apply liquid foundation. The Expert Face Brush has denser bristles, so you will get a more matte application overall than you will with the Stippling.

Could this brush be used with the bare minerals bareskin serum? Or with any liquid foundation? I'm trying to find a brush for liquid foundation that is cheap and won't leave the makeup streaky. I need a medium to full coverage without looking cakey! Since I have oily/combination skin I need something that won't clog pores as well.

Yes, this brush would work well to apply bareMinerals bareSkin Foundation and any liquid foundation! This brush actually can be used to apply all types of makeup including powder, liquid, and cream foundations, as well as powder and cream blushes. It provides airbrushed, high-definition results.

With bareSkin, apply 4 drops for medium coverage and 6 drops for full coverage. bareSkin is also oil-free, non-comedogenic, and great for all skin types including oily/combination skin.
