I've been wanted a tapered kabuki brush for awhile, so when I saw this for buy one get one half off I went for it. The brush performed best when used for thicker foundation like creams and mousse textured. The design allowed me to get in the contours of my nose and under eyes while also performing well to blend foundation into my neck for a consistent color. I found it extremely difficult to clean, I tried several brush cleaner then tried an eye makeup remover and it did the trick. Makeup gets caked in their so make sure to clean it thoroughly and check between bristles.

I was looking for a foundation brush that would easily fit in my cosmetic bag when I travel and so many of the other brands are bulky and would never fit in a cosmetic bag. The retractable design and cover keep my brush clean and protected. Notice the price too - not as expensive as some of the other brands. The bristles are nice and soft. Your foundation applies easily and no streaking. I wish more companies would consider this compact design, but if not - I will be happy to purchase another EcoTool brush when it needs replacing.

The brush was too hard to get out of the platic it came in and when I pulled it to get it out the brush head/bristles came unglued from the wand so it was not usable after that.

This brush isn't terrible for a on the go foundation brush. Flat foundation brushes seem to work better for me. This one leaves lots of lines and I have to blend a lot with it. When I clean it, it is hard to get deep in it. And I've washed it several times with brush cleanser but it never really feels or looks clean like my other brushes do.
