I actually bought the Redken Hot Sets 22 product, but the email request for a product review was listed as Redken Blown Away 09 Protective Blow-dry Gel, so my review refers to the Hot Sets. I started using this product for my fine/thin hair and it does help to hold the curl longer without weighing the hair down. I bought the 5 oz. bottle initially and use the larger for refills since it does not come with a spray pump. Overall good product.

Nothing else has worked as well as this product. Don't change what isn't broken

After I dry my hair, I spray this all over and brush. Then I use my curling iron to curl. Then I style and spray with regular hairspray. If you have hair that will not hold a curl, this is the product for you. My hair is heavy and tends to go its own way, but this product helps hold the curl and keeps it in place. I would definately recommend it to anyone...and there is no buildup.

I blow dry my hair and spray this product on it and then when the hot curler is hot I just curl my hair and I do back comb my hair and them lightly brush it. I find if I brush my hair first before teasing it I loose alot of curl. some of my RX must effect my hair and I hate that becasue I really enjoy fixing my hair and look ing good even tho I do not get out much anymore.

Use almost everyday great to keep long lasting curls!
